STEP 3: Memorize the memory verse.

STEP 4: Ask an adult to video you saying your verse and tag us on Instagram – we’ll feature you in our stories! Oh yeah!!! !

STEP 5: Activity 1: God’s Grace is the Best Gift Read your memory verse again. Have you ever gotten a gift before? I don’t know about you but I LOVE getting a gift! ! Ask your family “What is the best gift you have ever opened?” Now what about you? What is the BEST gift you have ever opened? Draw a picture of it on the next page!

Wow! That is a super awesome gift! Do you want to know an even BETTER gift that you get when you ask God to forgive your sins? Forever friendship with God! It is called Eternal Life! Now that is a great gift!

STEP 6: Activity 2: God’s Grace Wins! We have talked about how “Everyone sins, but God’s grace wins!” Let’s play a game! Use the tic-tac-toe boards below.

1. Did you win one of the tic tac toe games? 2. How does it feel to win? But did you win every time?

I know I didn’t. One thing we can count on is that God’s grace ALWAYS wins! He never loses when it comes to forgiving our sins, and being our forever friend. I feel so happy knowing that God’s grace will always win!

STEP 7: Activity – Washed Clean

! !When we think of sin we think of dirty, yucky and a not so good feeling! That kind of reminds me of when I get dirt or mud all over my hands. That’s how my heart looks when I sin! But I know that “Everyone sins but God’s grace wins!” God cleans that dirty, messy sin and makes me clean! Want to see what I mean?

1. Get your hands really dirty, I mean REALLY dirty! 2. Then when you are ready for God’s grace to win, walk over to the sink or

hose and start washing all that dirt away. 3. While you are washing, let’s say our memory verse again. “Romans 6:23 For

the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Take a look at your hands now! How do they feel? Much better I’m sure! That is how our hearts feel when we ask God to forgive our sins and clean our heart, just like our hands!

STEP 8: Pray

1. Ask kids to share things they’d like to pray about. 2. Write down their prayer requests. 3. Pray together over the prayer requests. Not sure what to pray? Pray this: Dear Jesus, thank you for showing me that your grace always wins. Help me to remember the gift of forever friendship with you. That is the best gift! Amen.
