¡El Arzobispo Cupich quiere conocer su opinión! Cuando el Arzobispo Cupich anunció la iniciativa

“Renueva mi Iglesia” el pasado mes de enero, invitó a todos los miembros de la Arquidiócesis de Chicago a participar en el proceso de revitalización de nuestras

comunidades parroquiales. Del mismo modo que el Pa-pa Francisco pidió a los católicos de todo el mundo que compartieran sus pensamientos y opiniones antes del Sínodo de los Obispos de2014 y 2015, el Arzobispo Cu-pich está pidiendo su ayuda, ahora que la Arquidiócesis

inicia una nueva fase de escucha como parte de este importante esfuerzo. Por favor tome un tiempo para

Archbishop Cupich wants your input. When Archbishop Cupich announced the “Renew My

revitalizing our parish communities. Justas Pope Francis asked Catholics across the globe for their input prior to the Synod of Bishops meetings in 2014 and 2015, Arch-bishop Cupich is asking for your help as the Archdiocese

begins a new listening phase of this important effort. Please take time to respond to a survey designed to

help Archbishop Cupich and the Archdiocese better un-derstand the perspectives of Catholics across Cook and Lake Counties. The survey will be available beginning on

Señales

Cada día vemos las plantas pequeñas que se levantan del suelo como una señal de la primavera. Hay noticias en el periódico del comienzo de la estación de

béisbol. No aparece una señal de transigencia entre Las Escuelas Públicas y el sindicato de los maestros. Las tiendas de la reparación de los automóviles

anuncian el servicio de aire acondicionado, En las Escrituras de hoy, Dios nos empieza a ofrecer las señalas de la Vida Nueva. Los cincuenta días necesita-

mos de entender este regalo de la resurrección. En el libro de los Hechos de los Apóstoles, los apóstoles ofrecen: “Los apóstoles realizaron muchas señales

milagrosas y prodigios en medio del pueblo…y a los atormentados d por espíritus malignos y todos que daban curados,” San Juan describe: “Otras mu-

chas señales milagrosas hizo Jesús en presencia de sus discípulos pero no están escritas en este Libro.” En su vejes, San Juan tiene una visión que lo dice:

“No temas. Yo soy el primero y el ultimo.” Jesús indica el camino para nosotros en su apariencia a los apóstoles: “La paz este con ustedes.” Y después de

realiza una paz verdadera, podemos Salir y proclamar: “Hemos visto al Señor.” Cada día enfrentamos muchas enfermedades y espíritus malignos que

necesitan la gracia del Resucitado. Cada domingo, nos alimentamos para el viaje de la salvación. Tenemos confianza en Dios cuando proclamamos las

palabras del salmo: “Den gracias al Señor porque es bueno, porque es eterna su misericordia.”

Semana_Milagrosa

La Semana Santa fue un evento de mucha gracia, mucha alegría, mucha esperanza. Gracias a los que vinieron, los que asistían, los que apoyaron. Tenemos mucha bendición del

Señor.

Signs

Every day we see signs of small plants sticking up from the soil as a sign of spring. There are notices in the paper about the start of the baseball season.

There does not appear to be a sign of compromise between the Chicago Public Schools and the teachers union. Auto repair places are advertising air-

conditioning service. In the Scriptures today, God begins to offer signs of New Life. We need the fifty days to understand this gift of the resurrection. In the

book of the Acts of the Apostles, the Apostles offer: “Many other signs and wonders were done among the people at the hand of the apostles…the sick

and those disturbed by unclean spirits and they were all cured.” St. John describes: “Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples that are

not written in this book.” In his old age, John has a vision which speaks to him: “Do not be afraid, I am the first and the last, the one who lives.” Jesus

indicates the way in his appearance to the disciples: Peace be with you.” And after one realizes the true peace, we can go forth and proclaim: “We have

seen the Lord.” Every day we face sicknesses and unclean spirits that need the grace of the Risen One. Every Sunday, we nourish ourselves for the journey

of salvation. We have confidence in God when we proclaim the words of the psalm: “Give thanks to the Lord for he is good, his love is everlasting.”

Wonderful_Week Holy Week was an event of much grace, much joy, much hope. Thanks to those who came, those who assisted, those who supported. We have a great blessing from God.
