SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS
We want to thank all the people who welcomed our Sunday
School kids into their homes when we were out delivering muf-
fins in March. It was a fun day
Thank you to Jan Vipond and Kathy Dahl who helped teach in
March. Your service is greatly appreciated.
We also want to thank Lexi Danner and Ryanne Long who have
helped with our Openings.
In April we will be learning about Ascension Peter Heals Paul’s
Letters, and Paul and the Philippians. In May our lessons will in-
clude Early Believers, The Angel Frees Paul, and the Holy Spirit.
We are looking for one more community service project to per-
form in April or May. Please give us a call if you have suggestions.
Joyce Hanson, Director

us. We continue to have 15-17 students attend who are a pleasure
to teach.
We use the same Spark program as our Sunday School which fol-
lows the church services on occasions.

Kyries and Glories — We share our joys and concerns, highs/lows. The messages in sermons have been well received and are focused
on helping us move forward. Call committee members were much honored to be asked to serve. Sound system has been having diffi-culties. It is less than 2 years old.
We celebrate our past, our history as God’s people Secretary’s report
Treasurer’s report— Discussed one check that had not cleared and stop payment. Taken care of by family. Leon made motion toapprove secretary’s report with modification and treasurer’s report. Charles 2nd. MCU.

We look to the futureInterim Discovery/call committee — Call committee has not met. Members are: Sandy Perry, Chelsey Anderson, Joyce Hanson,
Jeff Lang, Roger Knapp, Doug Ostenson, and Ryleigh Johnson. Marilyn will put this in the spotlight with a thank you.Discussed if we need to ask or suggest the possibility of sharing a pastor if other small congregations are also in need. At this
time we feel that we can focus on Peace alone. If we want a seminary grad, we need to move on this right away. Discussedthe process of dividing congregation into 10 groups to find out what they are looking for in a Pastor and obtain the data. Tom and Pastor Don to call the synod. Executive Committee will meet with the call committee members ASAP. Will alsoexplore names suggested by the congregation if anyone knows of a pastoral candidate who may want to be considered.

April Peace Council Spotlight Page
Bus Drivers Requested
In order to fully utilize our church bus, we need driver
volunteers who will obtain a “medical card” from theirhealth care providers in order to legally drive the bus.
What would work best if three to five drivers can be
credentialed so on a rotational basis, the bus can be
used to pick up our home bound members so they can
participate in Sunday worship and fellowship.
Call Committee/Pastoral Search Committee
Thank you to all the members who have consented to
serve and have begun the search process for us. Thecongregation/council appreciates your efforts and
communication.
Coffee with Council and Call Group
Consider using the fellowship time prior to and after
worship to connect with your council representatives
and with members of our call/search group. This is a
perfect opportunity to ask questions, give opinions,
offer concerns and suggestions. Most often there aremultiple members available during that time to
“coffee” with. Communication is important to a
positive outcome with our ministries at Peace.
Remember these groups are your voice.
Visitation
Take advantage of Pastoral Care and visitation
with Pastor Don by calling the church offices at320-528- 2536
Pastor Don’s Landline Phone: 320-351-7343
Pastor Don’s Cell: 701-371-8374

Social Media
Be mindful to watch social media and your emails for
news from your church. We want to share all of the
happenings in a timely fashion. Thank you to Sandy
and our youth leaders for managing those sites.
Scholarships Available for Summer Camp
Scholarships are available through the church to
benefit youth who wish to go to Bible Camp this sum-
mer. The person to talk to would be Sandy P. at the
church offices. She will be able to forward information
onto the council {or the appropriate financial person}
for the available funding and resources. This is an
important ministry for our youth as they expand their
faith journey.
Audio System
Thank you to all the “tech savvy” individuals and their
contacts/resources for solving our persisting problems
with the sound system. All of us appreciate a working
system!
