Church Launch in MaineOur church planting partners in Maine, Ron and Melissa Plocinski, now have a location for Renew Community Church, and they will “launch” on Easter Sunday. The space is in an outlet shopping center in Kittery. This a major step for them and very much an answer to prayer. Please pray for Ron and Melissa, for Renew, for the launch, for the people who are supposed to attend, and for the Holy Spirit to do great and mighty things!

Men’s Prayer BreakfastSat., April 27 at 7:30 a.m., FMC (please note change of location) We have a prayer breakfast for ALL MEN on Saturday morning April 27 in the FMC (note the location!) beginning at 7:30. Greg Edds will lead the music. Russell Smyre will share testimony and also share about the “Fatherhood Initiative” he is involved in starting. Please join us for good food, good fellowship, music, testimony, inspiration and of course prayer. You may sign up in Sunday School or by contacting Pete Teague at 704-202-2188 or [email protected].

Financial Supportfor Church Planters in MaineAt the November business meeting, the church approved a partnership with Ron and Melissa Plocinski, Southern Baptist church planters in Maine. The church itself will not support the Plocinski family fi nancially but individual church members can fi nancially support them if they so choose.

The preferred method of giving is direct from the individual, as follows:With credit card by going to this website https://missionaries.namb.net/full/ronald-plocinski-1 and select “recurring” or simply go back to the website monthly.

For those who prefer mailing a check monthly, checks are made payable to NAMB with “Acct # 10335” in the memo line, and mailed to this address: NAMB, ATTN: MSC-Accounting, PO Box 116543, Atlanta, GA.30368-6543.

A member may also contribute to our church’s fund designated for Plocinki support, and the church will send the money to NAMB.

Thank you for prayerfully considering support for Ron and Melissa. If you have any questions, please contact Pete Teague.

Mission Trip to MaineWe are trying to put together a mission trip to Maine the weekend of June 14-16. Ron and Melissa chose this particular weekend because the “Kittery Block Party” is that Saturday. The team will participate in outreach efforts at the block party and otherwise as planned by Ron and Melissa. This block party is a signifi cant community event and outreach opportunity. The team will spend no more than three nights there. If interested, please contact Pete Teague.

Lumberton Disaster ReliefApril 30 through May 2We will be helping with the rebuild from Hurricane Florence. If you are interested, contact Carl Morner at 704-239-9122. Transportation and housing will be furnished.
