Help PCA Church Plant with meals or childcare during C Ex Course

Our presbytery is planting a new PCA church in the Garnet Valley area called Hope Presbyterian Church. Pastor Will Stern is hosting a Christianity Explored (CE) Course at Garnet Valley Ele-mentary School starting April 26. It will run seven weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.. They are hoping to provide a meal and childcare each night. Pastor Will is looking for help from local churches and individuals who may be willing to sign up one Wednesday evening to help with food, setup, and childcare. Also, if you know anyone in the Garnet Valley area who may be looking for a church in their area, he would love to have their name and so he can person-ally invite them. If you would like to help with the CE course or if you know anyone in the area who might be interested in this new church plant, please contact Pastor Will at [email protected].

The camp in Nepal this past week had 47 campers attending with 10 counselors helping. It was a lot of travel for the Indian team and they are praising God for a safe journey. Pray for the Nepali staff to be encouraged and refreshed. Praise God for the most recent mobile camp in India and for their protection. A lot is happening in the Northern India states, where they are shutting down butcher shops, Christian churches/work through intimidation and violence. The atmosphere is changing fast and becoming quite tense. Below is a testimony from a recent camper:

A young Hindu boy accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour at the most recent mobile camp. He used to say bad words and do bad things but in Bible class he learned that we need to leave behind bad things to be successful in life and received counseling from the staff – His life was changed. His father works as accountant in the local school and his mother is a homemaker. Please pray for this young man and his family’s salvation.

Children seven years of age and younger are invited to Children’s Church for which they’ll be dismissed immediately after the Children’s Mes-sage.

Bibles There are large print Bibles and hearing assist devices available in the narthex. Also, for our Chi-nese, Korean and Spanish-speaking visitors, there are bibles showing the text in your language and English side-by-side. Please return the bible to the narthex after the service.

Pink Prayer Request Forms Proclamation's staff and elders are happy to lift your concerns and praises to the Lord in their prayers. Please note that the pink prayer request forms have been moved from the pew backs to the narthex table. You can place your completed form in the box on the table, place it in the offer-ing plate or hand it to one of our deacons. You are also welcome to contact Pam in the church of-fice by phone or e-mail and she will convey your message to the staff and elders.
