OUTLINEScripture: Psalm 91Text: Psalm 91:2Sermon: We Are All Gods Refugees!Introduction If God is our refuge .Appreciating the imagery and message of Psalm 91A. The dangers envisioned in Psalm 91-- fowlers snare, pestilence, arrows, deadly animals-- symbolic of every conceivable troubleB. The metaphor of God as a fortress-- indicates shelter, security, defense-- territory that is ruled by God in His powerC. The reassurance of Gods protection today-- during Lent we remembered the spiritual warfare that Jesus engaged-- Jesus was left alone, exposed to all of the power of evil-- God promises us guardians-- Psalm 91 refers to the angels-- the Holy Spirit is also our guardianConclusion:We should not hesitate to seek and find refuge in God today!
