CELEBRATING with EASTER JOY

“God has bestowed upon his people the gift of song. God dwells within each human person,

in the place where music takes its source.” -United States Council of Catholic Bishops

The Fifty Days of Easter are celebrated as one feast day, one continuous Sunday. This “great Sunday” gives us the opportunity and even encourages us to stay in the celebration mood with gratitude, feasting, happiness and joy.

What would a celebration be without music? Enrich your worship experience and others by participating in the new life of Easter within the music ministry. Some-thing for EVERYONE, not just singers!

Vespers (Evening Prayer) will be led by Deacon Steve in the chapel from 5:45—6:15 pm every first Friday. Please join us for prayer and benediction.

Since Fridays are a traditional day of fast and abstinence, we invite you to offer prayers and sacrifices for vocations to the priesthood and religious life on the First Friday of the month. This month we ask that you pray especially for:

Keith Chadwick, Dan Weger, and Joel Haug, AVI, all discerning vocations to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Kansas City, Kansas. Please keep all seminarians and young people discerning vocations to the consecrated and religious life in your prayers.
