IMPETUS its a family business that was created in 1973, with 6 sewing machines and 4 workers; Nowadays, and still owned by the founders, the business became a group of 4 companies, with approximately 900 employees, and an annual production of 25,000,000 articles; The whole production, 100% made in Portugal, is exported to markets and customers worldwide.

Presenting a vertical structure (from yarn to logistics), IMPETUS became specialized in the production of CUT & SEW and SEAMLESS garments; The experience acquired along more than 40 years, together with the strong and continuous investment in innovation and technology, placed us among the biggest and most advanced textile manufacturers in Europe, as a leading company in research, design, quality and service. We base our conduct, attitude and relationships on dialogue and full transparency, with the main goal of create strong and long-lasting relations that result in mutual benefits.

Composed by multidisciplinary team, with high skills on textiles, management, design, etc, ensures individual and technical follow-up of each customer;

Dedicated mangers to each customer to assure efficient follow-up;

Articles from customers requirements, but also develop and propose garments according to their needs and/or core business;

Apart from underwear, we also produce sportswear, workwear, swimwear, loungewear, flame-retardant, anti-static garments, etc

Compositions from common Cotton, to Wool, Polypropylene, Viscose, Acrylic, etc

The C&S structure presents the most advanced equipment, covering the areas from knitting to logistics. Daily capacity of around 10.000 articles.

Dye house Cut & sew and seamless production is finished in our own dyeing house. Equipped with most advanced technology, provides quick answer to sampling and production; - Certified laboratory - Color “kitchen” - Digital print - Cylinder print (8 or 12 colors) - CO2 recycling to water treatment - Own electricity production - Eco certified
