PANCOSMA SA Voie des Traz, 6

Subject: Pancosma brings to market the first 100% plant extract product approved as a zootechnical additive for broilers in the EU. Dear customers and partners

Pancosma is pleased to announce that the leading product XTRACT® 6930, has now achieved a new and unique status within the EU, branded as Xtract Evolution B.

The strict European addit ive classificat ion system has 5 different legal categories: . Technologic addit ives (e.g: emulsifiers, acidif iers…) . Nutrit ional addit ives (e.g.: vitamins, minerals…) . Sensorial addit ives (e.g.: flavors, plant extracts…) . Zootechnical addit ives (e.g.: enzymes, pre/ probiot ics...) . Coccidiostats

In order to pursue its differentiation strategy within the phytonutrient market, Pancosma in 2009

started the challenging process to upgrade XTRACT® 6930 from a sensorial to a zootechnical

category. Until now, no phytonutrient have been registered in the zootechnical category.

To achieve this goal, Pancosma submitted to EFSA (European Food Safety

Authority) a complete dossier detailing product standardization, manufacturing

process, traceability tests in pure form and in feed, toxicology studies and

performance trials in broilers.

After EFS A released their posit ive scient if ic opinion in February 2015, the EU commission approved XT RAC T® Evo lut ion-B (Xtract 6930) as a zootechnical addit ive and performance enhancer, havingpositive and consistent effects on broiler performance when used at 100 g/ t of feed. This official regulation is public and codif ied under Reg. No. 2015/ 1490. The registered product XTRAC T® Evolut ion-B ( product code: X60-6930) is now t raceable with the E number 4.d.11 in the EU.

IMPORT ANT: The use of this zootechnical registered addit ive in poultry feed or premixes, together with the advantage of being able to claim performance enhancements, is subject to a compulsory declaration on your feed and/ or premix labels displayed in the market. The E number (4.d.11) and the dosage should clearly and easily be identified by local authorit ies. fgfgfgggrgrg The Pancosma team remains at your disposal for any addit ional information you may need. We thank you for your continued loyalty.

My best regards
