Applying to University through
TISC for 2016
What is it that TISC do?
But I want to go to Notre Dame…
Grab a copy of their 2016 Handbook from outside Ms Baker’s old office in the S&E building.
Attend their Admissions & Information Evening (includes Alternate Entry processes) Tuesday 15th September.
There will be an expo starting at 5.30pm and the official presentation starts at 6pm.
There is lots of useful information on their website where you will go to apply online…
Visit the website for the following:
Accessing a database of WA university courses
Checking university course updates
Applying online
Changing and checking preferences
Finding out your ATAR
Accessing your offer information
Checking scaling information
Checking related sites (universities, interstate admission centres, School Curriculum and Standards Authority)
Who can apply through TISC?
Australian & New Zealand citizens.
People with approved or granted Australian permanent resident status - NOT those who are still applying.
What do I do if I am not eligible to apply through
TISC?
Contact the ‘International Centres’ of the respective universities you are interested in attending directly.

APPLYING TO UNIVERSITY VIA TISCOnline (WEB)
• Logon at www.tisc.edu.au. • You need a User ID and Password. • Your User ID is your 2015 School Curriculum and Standards Authority Student Number. • Access TISCOnline using your default Password. • Require assistance, email [email protected] (and, no, you won’t be the only one!). • Check out the 2016 TISC Guide for a step-by-step guide. • You can change your preferences online (at no cost). • You can access your results and offers online. • Application fees are $27 for 2015 WA Year 12 school leaver age students • Please check that your personal details on the letter are correct. Go to www.tisc.edu.au
Read ‘University Admissions’ and ‘How to Apply Online’ on TISC website.
Your login User ID is your School Curriculum and Standards Authority number. Your password is explained on the login page.
Start application, following prompts
Choose at least one preference (university course)

Provide details of studies / qualifications.
Declare application (accept application conditions).
Choose payment option: Online with credit card By mail In person at TISC
Print coversheet and read it carefully
Pay application fee

Submit all supporting documentation, if any requested on the coversheet.
Remember: You can defer completion of your web application at any stage, save what you have done, and return to complete it another time, subject to closing dates.

TISC WILL NOT ACTIVATE YOUR APPLICATION **
UNIVERSITIES ADMISSION ADVICE LETTER (UAAL)
A UAAL is produced for all students with at least one 2015 WACE course scaled score.
Your UAAL will be available online from Wednesday 30 December (to be confirmed).
A hard copy of your UAAL on official stationery can be ordered online.
Mid August TISC Guide issued to Year 12 Students. Applications online ($27.00)
Wednesday 30 September 2015 (11.00 pm) On-time closing date. After this date, late application fee charged ($138.00). Final closing date for Assured Entry Pathways to Medicine and Dentistry at UWA
Wednesday 30 December 2015 Year 12 results available online and posted (to be confirmed).
Wednesday 6 January 2016 (11.00 pm) Closing date for late applications and changing preferences for main round offers
