Why and what is Liberal Arts?
By emphasizing the development of intellectual skills, the Liberal Arts equip
students to:
•Solve complex problems
•Communicate effectively
•Analyze complex issues
•Gain appreciation for art, history, music, theater, etc.
Degree Structure
The Bachelor of Arts is a four-year liberal arts program
consisting of 40 courses (120 credit hours) including a
major field and the distribution requirement.
The degree program is separated into three components:
1. Proficiency Requirements
2. General Distribution Requirements
3. Specialization Requirements
It is not necessary to declare a major until you have reached 45 credits
(typically during your second year).

Transfer Credits
International Baccalaureate
• 6 credits for IB HL with score of 4 and above
• 3 credits for IB SL with score of 4 and above
• MA and EN placement exams for credit
UK A-Levels
• One year worth of credits per subject for A Levels
AP Examinations
• 3 credits for each AP exam with a score of 4 and above
Scholarships and Grants
• Merit – based Scholarships: based on academic merit
• Assistance Grant: for students who can demonstrate a
legitimate need for aid
Financial Aid
•Title IV University means that it certify FAFSA as well as
private loans for US Citizens
