Being our biggest site means that Hammersmith & Fulham College utilises the space available to provide lots of facilities for specialist learning. Our full-service training restaurant has been awarded a Highly Commended Rosette from AA Hospitality and a Silver Accreditation from People 1st. We also have a commercial Hair & Beauty salon where students provide services to paying clients, as well as a simulated aircraft cabin and check-in area, sports labs, a strengthening and conditioning gym, a virtual reality room, computer labs with the latest technology and supported learning facilities.

At Hammersmith & Fulham College, we have a 120 seat training restaurant, expert teaching staff and industry standard kitchens, which are often used as filming locations for popular food shows such as Jamie’s Kitchen, Hell’s Kitchen and The Apprentice. As part of the work experience, our students have had the opportunity to work at The Wolseley, The Delaunay, Brasserie Zédel, Colbert, Fischer’s, The Beaumont, Novotel Hammersmith and Il Pagliaccio Restaurant.
As a College, we actively encourage and push our students to be the best they can be in their chosen field. This includes taking part in local and national competitions, as this provides students with unique challenges outside the classroom that help to challenge them and develop new skills.

Public Services courses are designed to prepare you for a career in a range of public services roles, including the police, ambulance and fire services, the armed forces, prison and security services or local and central government such as HM Revenue and Customs.
You can grow your personal skills and academic knowledge in leadership, human behaviour and team working while developing the skills and knowledge required by employers in the uniformed public services. Our courses cover key theoretical and practical sports-related subjects across multiple disciplines, such as fitness testing, lifestyle, sports nutrition, sports psychology and anatomy and physiology. You will have access to the brand new strengthening and conditioning gym as part of your studies, as well as contact with coaches, trainers and industry professionals.

The travel and tourism industry is a dynamic and fast growing sector accounting for over 2.1 million jobs in the United Kingdom. Studying with us will help you to develop the relevant skills and knowledge to gain employment within this ever-expanding industry.
Our facilities include a simulated aircraft cabin and airline check in area for a real life learning experience. All our teaching staff have previously worked in the travel and tourism industry and have a wealth of practical and relevant experience.
We have great links to employers and many of our students go on to find work in the airline industry, including at British Airways, Emirates Airlines, Heathrow Terminals 3 & 5 and Swissport, with whom we have an Academy Partnership.

How to I apply for a course?
We accept online applications submitted through our website, as well as paper application forms found in the back of this guide. You can send this via the post or by hand to any College site.
What is the deadline for application?
We accept applications up until enrolment, but places are limited so we recommend applying as soon as possible so you have the best opportunity of securing a place on the course of your choice.
Is there an interview process?
You will be invited to attend an interview. If successful you will then be given either a conditional or unconditional offer and later invited to enrolment.
When does enrolment start?
For courses starting in September, enrolment starts in August. For the latest dates and times please visit wlc.ac.uk/enrolment

Are there minimum requirements?
Each course has individual entry requirements based on the course level and specification. These can be found on our website. Some courses may require initial assessments which you will be advised of.
What happens if I change my mind?
If you change your mind before classes start, you can come for an interview with a tutor for the new course you are interested in. If you change your mind after your course has started, you have a short period in which you can change to a different course, subject to places and entry requirements.
