How to Apply for an Open Position

Overview

To apply for an open position, you have two ways to access and apply to a job posting. A. Using the “Job Search” button without initially logging into Halliburton.jobs. OR B. Log into your profile at www.halliburton.jobs and click on the “Job Search” link.

Steps

Using the “Job Search” button without initially logging into Halliburton.jobs 1. Go to www.halliburton.jobs.

2. Click on the “Potential Employee” button.

3. You can search by Geographical Area of Interest, Interest Group, Career Fields, Requisition Number, Keyword Search, or any combination of them.

4. After you receive your results list and have decided on a position to apply for, select the position and click on the “Apply” button.

5. If you are currently registered on Halliburton.jobs, you will need to click on the link to log in. If you

have never registered before then you can complete your registration at this time. Click on the

button at the bottom of the page. Note: Be sure all popup blockers on your toolbar(s) are disabled. This can prevent windows from

opening.

6. If you click on the “Halliburton.jobs Logon”, you will need to log in with your User Name and Password. If you have forgotten your password, click on the “Forget your password” link.

7. Complete the information on each tab.

8. Once you reach the Submit Application box you will need to review your Data Overview and click

Submit Application.

9. You should see a confirmation that your application was sent successfully.

Note: If you do not submit your application, it will remain in a “Draft” status and can be submitted at a later date. To access your application you can click on the “Application” link on your “Start Page”.

Log into your profile at www.halliburton.jobs and click on the “Job Search” link. 1. Go to www.halliburton.jobs.

3. Once you click you will see the Job Search page. Click on “Sign In” in the top right hand corner of the page.

4. Enter your User Id and Password. If you have forgotten your password, click on the “Forget your

password” link.

5. Click on the “Job Search” link on your Start Page.

6. You can search by Geographical Area of Interest, Interest Group, Career Fields, Requisition Number,

Keyword Search, or any combination of them. Note: The fewer criterions you select, the broader your search results will be.

7. After you receive your results list and have decided on a position to apply for, select the requisition and click on the “Apply” button.

8. Complete the information on each tab. Click the boxes or navigation button to navigate through the

tabs.

10. You should see a confirmation that your application was sent successfully. Note: If you do not submit your application, it will remain in a “Draft” status and can be submitted at a later date. Since you are already logged into your profile and have another Halliburton.jobs page open, this page will automatically close in 10 seconds.
