The SUN CITY ROTARY CLUB is always looking for men and women who believe in the motto “SERVICE ABOVE SELF”.

Come to the weekly club meetings for lunch in the Sun City Ballroom on Tuesdays at noon. We will buy you lunch and provide you with an experience of camaraderie and fun. Become part of one of the largest service clubs, ROTARY INTERNATIONAL, in the world. Participate in local youth projects.

Rotary Fest 17’s fundraising goal is to maintain our current programs reaching almost 1,000 kids in Williamson County, plus adding two new programs in the next school year:

• Add EAFK (EARLYACT FIRSTKNIGHT) in an elementary school in a Williamson County ISD (Independent School District). • Add INTERACT to the Jarrell Middle School.

Rotary will continue supporting these Williamson County youth Initiatives:

• Sponsoring EAFK (EARLYACT FIRSTKNIGHT) in the Jarrell Elementary School. • Sponsoring EAFK (EARLYACT FIRSTKNIGHT) In the Jarrell Intermediate School. • Sponsoring INTERACT in the Jarrell High School. • Sponsoring 4 Jarrell High School RYLA (ROTARY YOUTH LEADERSHIP AWARDS) students and the subsequent RYLA Summer leadership week long camp. • Providing 3 college scholarships. • Providing a ROTARY LITERACY GRANT to the Jarrell ISD, the Florence ISD, and the Liberty Hill ISD. • Providing a ROTARY LITERACY GRANT to the Georgetown Public Library. • Providing support to the LOCKER for the Georgetown High School, the East View High School, and Jarrell High School. • Providing support to the Assistance League’s “OPERATION SCHOOL BELL”. • Providing support for the R.O.C.K. (RIDE ON CENTER FOR KIDS) youth programs. • Providing support for the Georgetown Project (THE NEST).
