Dedicated to CESARE PAVESE - Italian writer born in 1908 in the Langhe region, precisely in the village

of Santo Stefano Belbo, he played an essential role in the transition between the culture of the thirties and

the new culture emerging from the post-war years. Despite moving to Turin, the hills of his land will be

forever imprinted in his memory composing his inner life geography and making an integral part of his

own personal story: childhood, love, war, the departure and the return, a weaving full of memories with

the ancestors. All these aspects have made Pavese an imaginative singer of the Langhe region, creative

maker of the poetic charm of these places.

The decor and furnishings evoke the style of the mid-Twentieth Century through the use of clear colours,

natural linen fabrics, linear natural wood furniture, leather accessories and bed, paintings with images

referring to the writer.
