Newsletter No. 47 - November 2013 From the President Dear APIBA Members, 2013 has been an eventful year for APIBA. After 12 years, APIBA organised the third edition of the FAAPI Annual Conference held in the City of Buenos Aires. FAAPI 1994 was held at the Escuela Normal Superior en Lenguas Vivas “J. F. Kennedy” (now “S. B. Spangenberg”) and FAAPI 2001 was held at U.C.A. We hope that FAAPI 2013 at U.C.A.’s new Convention Centre lived up to the high standards set by its two Buenos Aires predecessors as well as by the many successful past FAAPI Conferences organised by APIBA’s sister Associations. In this Newsletter you will see that throughout 2013 much more happened at APIBA: the monthly SIG meetings, Un-Bloomsday, APIBA Annual Fellowship Lunch, Publish or Perish?at the U.B., APIBA Programmes updates, new benefits for Members, APIBA Best-average awards and much more! So, lots of reasons to propose a toast to a 2014 full of even more good news for APIBA, FAAPI, our sister Associations and our profession! Newsletter No. 47 - November 2013

From the President Dear APIBA Members,

2013 has been an eventful year for APIBA. We hope that FAAPI 2013 at U.C.A.’s new

Convention Centre lived up to the high standards set by its two Buenos Aires predecessors as well as by the many successful past FAAPI Conferences organised by APIBA’s sister Associations.

In this Newsletter you will see that throughout 2013 much more happened at APIBA: the monthly SIG meetings, Un-Bloomsday, APIBA Annual Fellowship Lunch, “Publish or Perish?” at the U.B., APIBA Programmes updates, new benefits for Members, APIBA Best-average awards and much more!

So, lots of reasons to propose a toast to a 2014 full of even more good news for APIBA, FAAPI, our sister Associations and our profession!
