Religious Education News First Holy Communion Rehearsal is Friday, May 4th, 4 pm-6 pm. Please remember to bring the completed banner to this rehearsal! First Holy Communion is Saturday, May 5th at 11 am. All First Communicants should be at the church no later than 10:30 am! MAY PROCESSION is Sunday, following the 11 am Mass in the Mary Garden. All First Communicants should plan on attending this Mass in their communion attire! All parishioners join us as the children lead the procession to the Mary Garden for the Crowning of Mary, the Blessed Mother.

SENIOR HIGH YOUTH MINISTRY

Youth Ministry meets tonight at Boy Scout Hall, next door to First Church of Christ on

Hopmeadow Street in downtown Simsbury for the Scavenger Hunt on Hopmeadow. Teams will be formed at 6:00 p.m., so please be on time. Pizza will not be served tonight due to our off-site location. ADULTS ARE NEEDED THIS EVENING TO HELP CHAPERONE TEAMS. Please contact Judy at [email protected]. Sunday, April 29th, 6:00 pm, Russell Hall-Sr. High Youth Ministry gathers for our year end closing and Farewell to Seniors-please join us for dinner as we pay Tribute To Our Graduating Seniors. (An rsvp to Mrs. Pluta at [email protected] is required for dinner tonight so that proper preparations can be made at the table and in dining.)

The St. Catherine of Siena Health & Healing Ministry is sponsoring a Healing Mass on the feast day

of St. Peregrine, the patron saint of cancer patients, Friday, May 4, 2018, at 8:30 AM. Mass will include anointing of the sick. All are invited to attend. They are also looking for people to join their Prayer Chain. If you’d like more information on supporting others in prayer please contact Lisa Cerchia in the office, 658-1642.

Pantry Partners Thank you to all of the volunteers who assisted in the April distribution. We served 24 families on Saturday. To contribute to SCPP, please use the envelopes available in the vestibule and the atrium. The May SCPP distribution is May 19th.
