Welcome from PDHPETA Why Partner with PDHPETA

Background The PDHPE Teachers’ Association (PDHPETA) has evolved from the first gathering of Heads of Physical Education Departments in 1977. The Annual Conference 1997 was the scene for further evolution. The membership agreed to expand its charter to include the professional needs and interests of all teachers of PDHPE K-12. The objectives of the Association are to: Provide a forum for teachers of PDHPE to

exchange views; and Respond to the professional needs of

teachers of PDHPE

We aim to do this by: Conducting professional development

activities for teachers of PDHPE; Publishing and distributing materials related to

the teaching of PDHPE; and Promoting quality teaching, learning and

leadership in the PDHPE learning area

A message from the PDHPETA Conference Committee - 2019 We invite you to attend the Annual PDHPETA Conference. Our theme is Culture, Connection, Community and Change. Keynotes, workshops and networking will provide you with the opportunity to engage with PDHPE Teachers and Secondary Schools from around NSW. Engage with experts on the ground teaching PDHPE on a daily basis for Secondary Schools from K-12.
