Ways to Participate in the
Kairos Prison Ministry Team Members for this session are Gary Kennedy and David McSwain.
At Alexander Correctional Facility prisoners sign up for the Kairos weekend when
they hear about how great the food is and to just get away from the madness of
prison life for just one weekend. They meet a man on that weekend that will
change their lives forever. They come hungry and leave “well” fed! Jesus de-
clared, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry.” John
6:35 PLEASE SIGN UP for our prayer vigil. Prisoners’ eternal destiny will be
changed!
1. Make Cookies
2. Be A Part Of The Prayer Vigil
3. Buy a Meal Ticket or Make a Donation
Buy a meal ticket for $5 which pays for 1 meal for 1
prisoner during the weekend. OR make a donation to
Kairos ministry to help pay the cost ($200 per person)
Home Baked Cookies Needed for Kairos
Cookies are needed for the Kairos Prison Ministry. All Homemade cookies are accepted
as long as they do not have powdered sugar on them. Package cookies FLAT in Ziploc
bags and write the # of dozen on the bag. Any help would be appreciated.
Please bring them to the Narthex, Lighthouse lobby or church office the
by Wednesday, Sept. 25th.
I am blessed to have been able to help make this an enjoyable weekend for

Many of the missionaries we
support work thru the Mission
Society
The Mission Society was formed as a supplemental missions sending agency for
the United Methodist Church on January 6, 1984. Since then, more than 500
men and women have been confirmed to serve Christ in more than 40 nations.
At present, more than 200 Mission Society missionaries currently serve on the
field, are in homeland ministry (furlough), or are raising their support to go out
for the first time. A support staff of more than 30 people works out of our home
office in the Atlanta area.
Be the change you want to see.
