Third Friday Hot Dog Sale May 17th 10 am - 2 pm

Mt Pleasant UMC Fellowship Hall Volunteers are needed, along with slaw, desserts, and

The hot dog sale this month will benefit the PB&J ministry.

PB&J Ministry The PB&J Ministry provides bags of groceries to needy families within the Mt. Pleasant school district over the summer months. Below is a list of items we are collecting over the next month. Please drop these items in the box marked “PB&J” in the Light-house Lobby.

Peanut butter Jelly Box of instant oatmeal or grits (containing individual serving packets)

Summer Bible Study for Women - 1000 Gifts by Ann Voskamp - Tuesday evenings 7-9pm in the Parlor (F204) - Study guide is $10 and will be available at first session - DVD study with discussion. Reading the book 1000 Gifts is optional. See Bonnie McDonald with any questions. 980.621.0086

What is Christ Fit ?

Christ Fit is for anyone in the church interested in

becoming more physically and spiritually fit. We will

have a devotional followed by exercise sessions.

Did I have to be in Run for God to Participate?

No.

I have not exercised in a long time. Can I still

come?

You do not need to be "in shape" to come, our programs

are designed to be individualized based on your current

ability level and interest.

The Run For God group collectively has lost 200-250 lbs.

with a spiritual connection to God and each other?

Christ Fit starts this Sunday 5/19

at 6pm-7:30pm in the Worship Center.

Prime Timer (50+) TRIP

The Prime Timers will leave for Strawberry Hill

Wednesday, May 22 at 8am from the church parking

lot. Stops will be made at Hammrick’s to shop, Turner’s

Restaurant for lunch, and Strawberry Hill for

strawberries and ice cream.
