IntroductionThe Anglo Saxons were warrior - farmers and came from north - Western Europe.
They began to invade Britain while the Romans were still in control.
The Anglo - Saxons were tall , fair - haired men, armed with swords, spears and round shields.
BeliefsThe Romans, Anglo - Saxons and Stone Age all have different beliefs.
The Romans, Anglo - Saxons and Stone Age all have the same gods but they are just named differently.
The Anglo - Saxon god is Woden. Other gods were Thunor - god of thunder.
Frige is the goddess of love and Tiw god of war.
They gave their names to the days of the week.
Tiw - Tuesday
Woden - Wednesday
Thunor - Thursday
Frige - Friday
FoodsFruits and vegetables of the knew world were unknown to them.
Anglo-Saxons ate what they grew
They ate cereals such as wheat, barley and oats
They ate vegetables such as carrots, parsnips,cabbages and peas.
They also ate fish.
Summary
This presentation is all about Anglo Saxon family life in Britain.
