White light is separated into colors as it reflects from the two surfaces of a thin film. Where the two reflections interfere constructively, they produce a band of color. Where they cancel each other, that color is subtracted from the spectrum.

•10 cups of water

•1 cup dish soap

•Glycerin (Glycerin make’s

bubble’s last longer

Hydrophilic- Having an affinity for water, absorbing or dissolving in water. Hydrophobic- Tending not to combine of dissolving in water.

•Liquid dishwashing soap•Glycerin ( from drug store)•Gallon jug •Dishpan or flat plan (like a big cake pan)

PROCEDURE

•Add 2/3 cup of soap to a gallon of water. And the soap last so you don’t get a jug full of suds. •Add one tablespoon of glycerin, which will help your bubbles last longer. (ask at a drug store).

IMPORTANT:•Don’t use any lotion- type soaps. Soap for dishwashing machine wont work.
