Andy is a human performance specialist. His skills are sortto help develop high performance environments and tosupport elite teams, which he does through appliedperformance psychology and the development of evidencebased resilience focused strategies. His work has affordedhim access to many different industries and countriesaround the world. He works with political leaders, high networth individuals, corporate business leaders; with worldleading athletes and coaches (Olympic, Commonwealthand World Championship Level), emergency services, theBritish armed forces and with not for profit and third sectororganisations. Andy has developed several human performanceprogrammes and has co-written a series of acclaimedresilience programmes that have been adopted by, amongothers, critical care practitioners, the police, the fire andrescue service, ambulance services, social services,headteachers and the corporate sector. When required,these have gained CPD accreditation from organisations suchas the Royal Colleges of Physicians and the Royal college ofNursing. In addition, Andy has developed a professionalstandards course to address undermining and bullyingbehaviour on commission from the Royal College ofSurgeons (Edinburgh). Andy is involved in a range of research projects withcolleagues from several universities. He is a Visiting Fellow atStaffordshire University Faculty of Health Sciences, School ofPsychology Sport & Exercise; an elected Fellow of the RoyalSociety of Medicine; and, an Academic Associate at CardiffMetropolitan University School of Sport. He is an AssociateLecturer in Leadership, Business and Work Based Learningon International Executive MBA programmes at a number ofuniversities in England, Wales and France. Andy has sat onthe Sport Wales Advisory Group (for 4 years) and on theWelsh Advisory Committee for the Stroke Association (for 6years).
