Nov 2013 to Present One Team Working, Managing DirectorOne Team Working provides training, consultancy and management services to organisations that require the removal of team silos ways of that prevent organisations from achieving success. As a consultant, I have personally designed and delivered One Team training to a leading UK local authority and their blue-chip supplier of services that enabled them to move from disparate ways of working that was threatening a major contract to an aligned and collaborative service delivery organisation.

Aug 2009 to Oct 2013 Xoserve, Senior Project Manager The Gemini Re-platforming Programme (GRP) was established to upgrade the entire IT infrastructure hosted in a new strategic datacentre. GRP successfully transitioned the existing Gemini Service from the legacy Data Centre; delivering a reliable, robust, stable and up-to-date infrastructure with a simplified design and increased monitoring capability that utilises new, fully supported hardware and software using a new fully integrated service delivery framework. It was delivered time narrowly exceeding the budget by 0.4% the original sanctioned value. The implementation of quality controls ensured that the cutover, transition and integration was smooth with minimal impact to operation teams and users, the few minor issues experienced and were stabilised and resolve during the period of early life support. My role included the following:

Full life cycle management from project initiation, team recruitment, business case submission for board approval, delivery of all products, through to close down including final post investment appraisal

Providing leadership and direction across all work streams to design and implement system in line with project objectives and business case benefits

Creation and development of a branded collaborative delivery and governance framework that was used for the effective delivery using a single ‘One Team’ approach covering twelve separate global organisations
