The Indian Mounds located on campus are included in the National Register of Historic Places.

The LSU Museum of Natural Science houses the largest collection of bird DNA in the world.

• The Memorial Tower:

Overlooking the Parade Ground and near the Quadrangle, the Memorial Tower was erected to commemorate the Louisiana veterans of WWI.

• The Indian Mounds:

These mounds date back to before the Egyptian Pyramids and are located near the heart of campus close to Tiger Stadium

• The Parade Ground:

Students flock here to lounge, study and soak in the Louisiana sun. The Parade Ground dates to the origins of LSU when each student was required to be a member of the ROTC, and the drill practices took place here.

• The Quadrangle:

Lovingly known as The Quad, the LSU Quadrangle provides a hub for students between classes.

• Mike’s Cage:

Take a visit to see the beloved mascot of LSU, Mike VI. His state-of-the-art exhibit draws daily crowds.
