Last year Barnardo’s celebrated their 150th year of caring for the most disadvantaged children in our society. Barnardo’s work with thousands of children every year and need substantial support to maintain this effort, let alone increase it in the face of ever increasing demand for their help.

Our tour around Great Ormond Street last year showed us how much work has been done to adapt to the challenge of looking after some of the most poorly children and how they approach caring for children with life threatening and life limiting illnesses. Donations to GOSH help them to provide a world-class hospital tailored to the needs of children as well as conducting cutting-edge research into rare childhood diseases and illnesses that saves thousands of lives every year. 2017 Charity Announcement
Anderson Wilde & Harris are proud to announce our chosen charities for 2017.
Our presence in London for over 20 years and our focus on the London property market have led us to choose two amazing London charities who are as much (if not more) a part of the fabric of London as we are. This is our second year supporting these 2 wonderful organisations.
While our day-to-day professional lives at AWH can often see us working with some of the most expensive and privileged addresses or working with ordinary people buying their first homes, the charities that we have chosen look after the needs of some of London’s most vulnerable and most poorly children. In many respects they look after the future of our great city in ways that we could not possibly achieve. As such they deserve our thanks and our support.
Their amazing and selfless work is an inspiration to us and reminds us that London is, at its heart, a city that cares about those in need. Furthermore, the longevity of these two great charitable institutions serves as a reminder that altruism and caring for those less fortunate have been an ingrained part of our city for a long time.
