COURAGE TO CHANGE The guest speaker for this Thursday July 18 th is Dr. David Casto. He is a Hospitalist with Marietta Memorial Hospital. He is sharing with Courage to Change the Palliative Care program offered to elderly or terminally ill patients at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Dr. Casto is a member of the church at 6 th and Washington in Marietta. We invite you to join us and learn about this pilot program. LOVE IN ACTION Another great week to be a Christian and live for HIM! Even in the midst of all the rain and storms, what an awesome feeling to know we are loved and chosen by HIM. We are soooo blessed in the USA to not be persecuted or killed as many in the world are, yet are we using this blessing to God's glory? What are we doing in this position that God has chosen us for? I am not sure the task is as hard as we make it out to be. In John 13:34-35, Jesus commands us to love one another as he has loved us and by this everyone will know that we are his disciples. Can our community tell we are the chosen disciples of Christ by our ACTIONS each day? Can they see the love we have for each other and our God? Our prayer is they can. A big thanks goes out to Lucas Metz this week for helping look at a pantry client's trailer to see if we can help her. We cannot reach out to our community without you helping us. "It takes a village" and together with so many talents, we CAN do this! Thanks to all!
