Invitation letter
The 27th-28th of October 2017, Torino will give you the XXIX edition of the “Great Innovations in Cardiology and Advances in Cardiac Arrhythmias” – organized in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Our invited Speakers will give the most interesting talks on a wide range of fields like cardiovascular prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases. We will give a special focus on heart failure, percutaneous interventions, transplantation, mitral and aortic valves on electrophysiology.
The Conference will be organized over two days and the speakers will be the most relevant in the Italian and international field, very expert persons involved in the above mentioned areas.
All the sessions will be focused on different segments of the heart diseases with a special attention to epidemiology, diagnosis, therapy and with a special attention to the more advanced novelties in the AF management, sudden death also in athletes, stroke prevention. There will be a dense parallel session dedicated to the future and to the social burden of the cardiovascular diseases in different areas of our world and will be discussed in view of providing answers by analyzing the clinical practice as well. Lunch Sessions will focus on emerging topics such as the role of PCSK9 in the management of hypercholesterolemia and new oral anticoagulants and on the definite role of food therapy in term of cardiovascular prevention.
Thanks to the collaboration with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, world-renowned Opinion Leaders will share their professional and research experience in heart treatments and on the future of research, with a look at the growing use of stem cells in cardiology. We hope to generate fruitful discussions after every Session and we will appreciate the active participation of all the participants. Also in this occasion, no participation fee will be requested to participate.
