comes to an end, it is a good time to review and analyse the last year.

We are proud to announce that we have successfully completed our targets for the year and many more accomplishments like converting our company into a Private Lim-ited company with the new name as ‘Anant Defence Systems Pvt. Ltd.’ We also success-fully participated in DefExpo 2020.

It has indeed been a memorable and an eventful year.

Well, all news is not as good as others and with a heavy heart, we announce that one of our founding members of ‘Anant Indus-tries’, Mr. Bhaskar Wagh, retires from the organisation. Wagh is a very close friend of mine, a confi dante, a guide and one who led this company through thick and thin, to get us where we are today.

On another serious note, as we are all aware of the Corona Virus pandemic, I request you all to take utmost care of your health and safety. It has already had enough impact on the world and we are taking all necessary steps to prevent its further spread.

As the New Financial Year 2020-2021 starts, we know it’s not going to be easy to get over the COVID-19 after-eff ects, but with all our energy and motivation (and with all necessary safety precautions), and with our New Company Vision and Mission, we hope

that we all will make this year another great year to remember.

The motivation to start the compa-ny ‘Anant Industries’ in 1988 was to serve the country by supplying

quality products and effi cient services to the Indian Defence Industry.

With this motivation, the proprietary Concern ‘Anant Industries’ was started by Mr. Chetan Dharia.

But now, as we have entered the last year of this decade, we look forward to the next decade with a lot of optimism.

Earlier we were only supplying defence equipment spares to Ordinance Factory Board, but now we have started working with Indian PSUs and Indian Private Com-panies on their defence projects. We are also exporting few of our products to ally

countries. We also completed our FY 2020 target successfully.

The Good Growth over the past few years made it an involuntary decision for us to change our Proprietary Concern to a Pri-vate Limited Company, in view of better corporate governance.

Hence, we have decided to name the newly incorporated company as ‘Anant Defence Systems Pvt. Ltd.’

This new company name also very specifi -cally mentions that we are and always will be a 100% ‘Defence Oriented Company’.

The transformation from ‘Anant Indus-tries’ to ‘Anant Defence Systems Pvt. Ltd.’ is actually a takeover agreement and the proprietor of ‘Anant Industries’ - Mr.

Chetan Dharia continues to be 85% share-holder of the newly incorporated Compa-ny ‘ Anant Defence Systems Pvt. Ltd.’

All our on-going contracts, agreements and communications with all our custom-ers and suppliers will be valid and will be amended as per requirement.

We are very proud to announce the start of our new company with a new vision and mission.

18 Jan 2020 : CJD Sir conducted a training on ‘Importance of Values’ for our senior management team.

23 Feb 2020: Our QA Team visited ACCURATE GAUGING AND INSTRUMENTS PVT. LTD. to see the various advanced machines and equipment. Mr. Gaikwad and Mr. Tukaram gave our QA Team a lot of guidance and expert advice.

25 Jan 2020 : Mr. Rajanikant Bhosale [M2 – Planning] gave training to all our Employees regarding effective utilisation of ERP & its modules.

11 Jan 2020 : Mr. Raju Sontakke [M5 – Prod] gave training to all production team members about CNC Programming.

Rising Stars: We conducted last two sessions in this quarter for 2nd batch of Rising Stars. The 5th session was conduct-ed by Mr. Sushant Kokate on the Importance of Digital Marketing on 12 Jan. 2020 & the Final 6th Session was conducted by CJD Sir on Value System & Leadership at our company guest house on 8 March 2020. Also we congrat-ulate to all Rising Stars of batch 2 for successful passing out.

Safety WeekWe always celebrate safety week in our company to promote the importance of safety at our workplace. We start the week by the taking of ’Safety Oath’. There was To make the event more interesting we also organised a Slogan & Quiz Competition and Kaizen Award for the departments.

Women’s Day Celebrations: Women’s Day was celebrated with lot of enthusiasm. All the women in our company celebrated women’s day on 8 March 2020 with a cake cutting ceremony. As a token of appreciation the company gifted them shopping cards from Sodexo.

05 Mar 2020 : We donated ₹1 lakh to the ‘Akshay Patra Foundation’. The Akshaya Patra Foundation is an NGO dedicated to serving Mid-Day Meals to 18,02,517 children across 16,856 schools all over India.

15 Feb 2020 : On Auspicious day of Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj Prakat Din, we carried out Anant Industries business transfer agreement to ANANT DEFENCE SYSTEMS PVT LTD. Our CA Mr. Limaye Sir was specially present for the same.

13 Feb 2020 : We donated ₹50,000 to ‘NFBM Jagriti School for Blind Girls’. This school has been established in Alandi, conduct-ing classes from Grade 1st to 8th standards in Khed, Maharash-tra since 1989 for underprivileged blind girls.

Our New Factory Construction in Shirwal is progressing rapidly and we plan to make our new plant operational by December 2020.
