Please make sure you find the important time to sit with your child and read through each area, looking at the grades but paying specific attention to the comments. Teachers spend a lot of time writing valuable comments that also give you information on how your child can improve. It is very important that your child understands the report and takes it as valuable feedback for future improvement. Learning is lifelong and we encourage our students to do their best but also work on areas they can improve. Please support your child to continuously learn. Those who have requested a second copy will be emailed tomorrow. Good bye Good bye and all the best to students and families who are leaving us. You will always be a part of the Camboon family so stay in touch. We wish you all the very best. Thank you Our school is an amazing school thanks to the wonderful support from our School Board, P&C and wider community. Our school has highly dedicated and passionate staff who care and make a positive difference. I want to THANK each staff member as together we make a wonderful school and make a positive difference in the lives of our students. You deserve a restful holiday and I look forward to seeing what we achieve in 2020. 2020 class lists These will be displayed in the assembly area tomorrow Thursday 19 December from 2pm. The class lists have been created based-on current student enrolment numbers for 2020 and are subject to change. Staff spend time creating the lists based on their knowledge of students, taking into account learning needs, behaviour, friendships and social emotional needs. Staff ensure that a range of students are in each class and this allows students opportunities to develop new friendships. All written requests are considered and we ask that parents are supportive and react positively to the class lists. All of our teachers are wonderful teachers and students will still get to play with their friends at recess and lunch times should they not be in the same class. Teaching your child/ our students to be resilient and flexible is a vital skill and we ask for your support in accepting our decisions, based on educational needs. Camboon families and staff are such generous people and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, Happy and Safe Holiday. See you in 2020

Year 6 lunch The graduating class was treated to a hot lunch provided by Noranda Uniting Church. They provided Charcoal Chicken, nuggets, hot chips, cold drinks and homemade desserts. They wanted to do this to say thank you for all the hard work the students have done to serve the community, their school and each other during their studies here at Camboon.
