ABSTRACT Moral values are one part of literature that are endless to be discussed. In literary works, moral values are very often found in characters that exist in movies or novels. The Little Prince novel by Antoine De Saint – Exupery is taken as research object of this research.
The research objectives are (1) To find out kinds of moral values that reflected by Little Prince in The Little Prince novel by Antoine De Saint – Exupery, and (2) To know the implication of moral values toward main characters. The method that used in this research is qualitative with objective approach. This research also used human or researcher as instrument. In analyzing the data, the researcher compares the collected dialogues or paragraphs to the theory of moral values, categorizing the moral values comprised in the dialogues or paragraphs, then drawing out the conclusion on the moral values reflected by main characters in The Little Prince novel.
The result of this research shows that there are three moral values reflected by Little Prince namely, bravery, honesty and love and affection value. This research also shows that by those three moral values reflected by Little Prince makes him become a responsible and caring person. Honesty values reflected by Little Prince also makes everyone in the novel respect him.

Almighty God, the Most Gracious and Merciful, for blessing and help to
accomplish this thesis. In this final accomplishment, I am totally aware that this

suggestions in search of acquiring the significant betterment of this thesis.
First of all, I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to my
first advisor, Dra. Erly Wahyuni, M. Si, and my second advisor, Dr. Sudiran, M.
Hum, for their valuable support, advice, and patience in guiding me accomplished
this thesis. My deepest gratitude is also expressed to my beloved parent Mama,
Papa, also my beloved little sister and little brother, Laras and Tio for the endless
support also who have always been my reason to finish this thesis.
