What is Classroom Management?

Providing a safe environment where all students can learn is a key factor in student success.

One of the most vital things that a new teacher can do is create a strong classroom management plan that addresses off-task behaviors, ensures student engagement, and fosters a positive learning environment.

Classroom management refers to all the things that a teacher does to organize students, space, time and materials so that instruction and learning can take place.
