Ok, What is DST?• Digital Storytelling is the practice of using computer-

based tools to tell stories. • Most digital stories focus on a specific topic and contain a

particular point of view.• Digital stories usually contain some mixture of computer-

based images, text, recorded audio narration, video clips and/or music.

• Digital stories can vary in length; 2-10 min is average. (http://digitalstorytelling.coe.uh.edu/index.html)

• Windows Movie Maker is a presentation software program that comes already installed on all Windows XP computers.

• You can create your own sound files using audacity

• Audacity tutorial

• Find sound files on the Internet and use with permission

• Music files can be found at free play music

• You may choose to use a video from You Tube (convert with Zamzar)

• Shoot and upload your own video
