Young Endoscopists
Poster Presentations
Amsterdam Live Endoscopy 2011
is happy to invite young endos-
copists to share their research and/
or remarkable cases with other
participants. For this, there will be
a continuous poster presentation
during Monday and Tuesday. This

in the Amstel Foyer, the main area
for coffee, tea and lunch.
With these poster presentations,
we want to provide young endos-
copists a platform to discuss
their work with international
colleagues. Abstracts will be
printed in a booklet and distri-
buted to all course participants.
To submit an abstract on-line:
www.amsterdam endoscopy.com.
The maximum word count is
350. You will be notified about
acceptance for poster presentation
within three weeks of submission.

We invite you to come to the fifth edition of Amsterdam Live Endoscopy!
Dear colleagues,
The fifth edition of Amsterdam Live Endoscopy is approaching fast.
The course is steadily growing without losing its intimacy and close
contact between guests and endoscopists. The Okura conference
centre will be completely reno vated this December and so will again
contribute to the goals of this meeting: providing excellent quality
endoscopy teaching for doctors and nurses with as much interaction
as possible in a pleasant surrounding.
We have again carefully selected our faculty. As always the faculty
is relatively small and changes every year since I believe it is good to
see and hear different experts at work. This year Hironori Yamamoto
(Yokohama), Michael Bourke (Sydney), Michael Wallace (Jacksonville),
Jacques Devière (Brussels) and Raf Bisschops (Leuven) will be with us
for the second time. New faces are Frank Vleggaar (Utrecht), Olivier
Pech (Wiesbaden, quick guest appearance in 2010), Helmut Messmann
(Augsburg) and Kenneth Wang (Rochester). They will again provide
the participants with state-of-the-art lectures, small-scale ‘tips &
tricks’ sessions and live demonstrations of diagnostic and therapeutic
gastrointestinal endoscopy.
The Christmas atmosphere will be all around you in Amsterdam when
you join us on 19 & 20 December, and we hope that you will be able to
spend an extra day in our wonderful city. The Academic Medical Center
has a huge experience in Endoscopy Live Demonstrations since 1989.
We hope to see you in December!
