Projects Done: Project Name: Reduction of power & fuel cost by use of reverse refrigeration process instead of heaters & burners. Organization : Amber Group of Companies, Pune Duration: 1st may 2016 – On going Description: In Paint shop PT line process (includes KOD, Degreasing, Phosphating ) temperature requirement is from 48 to 60 degree C

which is achieved by heaters & gas burners at present , Aim is to discard all these conventional method of heating and to introduce technology called Air Source Heat Pump ( Reverse of Refrigeration ) where we use hot side of Refrigeration cycle to heat the water.It sucks ambient air absorb the heat from air & discharge the cool air to ambient.

Benefits : 70% energy saving against Electrical heating & 50-60 % saving against Diesel or LPG.

Can directly heat any liquid/chemical up-to 50-600C by re-circulation method. No Pollution. Heat pump Exhausts Cool & Dry Air can be use for room cooling purpose. As the electrical heater needs replacement due to scaling, Saving in Cost of Heaters, it’s replacement & Maintenance.

Projects Done: Project Name: Assembly line for Air conditioners Organization : Amber Group of Companies, Pune Duration: Nov.’ 2015 – Jan’ 2016 Project Description:

Erection & commissioning of New Assembly line for Air conditioners. Active involvement in selection, implementation & procurement of material & machineries such as HVIR, Gas charging m/c,

Gas recovery m/c, Vacuum pumps, Strapping m/c ,Dimmers. In-house designing & preparation of Dummies for checking ODU unit. Designed & installation of Nitrogen purging station. Design & preparation of MS, SS trolleys for material movement & foldable trolleys for proper space utilization.

From Apr’10 to June 2012 with JK Tyre, Kankroli as Electronics & Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer

Key Deliverables: Handling project activities, working out various requirements with respect to utilities, machines, manpower and ensuring timely

completion of projects. Identifying areas of obstruction/breakdowns and taking steps to rectify the equipments through application of troubleshooting tools. Executing cost saving techniques and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in expenditures and working within the budget. Monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in process operations and meeting individual & group targets.

Notable Highlights: Have been instrumental in keeping the maintenance cost of plant below budgeted level - total maintenance cost of plant is Rs. 34.15

lakhs for financial year 2011-12 against the target of Rs. 48.7 lakhs by giving importance to repair. Replaced 300 Nos. of 250W HPMV lamp into 90 W LED highbay light to get the desired saving of 480 KWH/day; installed energy saving

lights with IP7 standards. Successfully installed two nos. of VFD on MP extruder mill and hold mill of dual extruder to get the saving of 500 KWh/day. Worked on DP Transmeter,RTDS,Thermocouple,PID Controller.various S/V,Filter ,regulator and Other field instruments Conducted cost control activities by effective inventory planning & management of raw materials. Played a key role in replenished the stock items by raising purchase indents and delivery advises & scrutinizing purchase indents for

spare parts of equipment. Demonstrated abilities in conducted cost control activities by effective inventory planning & management of raw materials. Major m/c downtime decreased by 15 % by taking preventive & predictive maintenance approach and by eliminating repetitive

problems. Commissioning of all electrical & instrumentation equipment in banbury project Successfully replaced hardware with PLC's in several m/c to reduce downtime & enhance productivity. Resolved technicalities such as: PLC up gradation of a machine (banbury) from siemens S5 to Allen Bradely Slc 500. Reva cam for auto spotting connected for the ease of operator and panel up-gradation work done. In-house development of oil scale - upgraded it from single load cell to 3 load cell system for better performance. Skillfully substituted m/s manual control system with full auto SCADA system through computer-based control & data logging at Bias.
