DEAR FRIENDS OF THE AUGUSTINIANS,

Since our last newsletter, three of our Augustinians have gone to their eternal reward: Fr. Frank Lawlor, O.S.A., Fr. Ron Turcich, O.S.A., and Fr. Jack Gavin, O.S.A. They served the Order and the Church over many decades and have influenced the lives of countless people in our schools and parishes. We will miss them, but we believe that they are with the Lord and we will one day meet them again. Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace! Amen!

Fr. Jack Gavin will still be honored at the Gala and the tribute book will be presented to his family. I hope you plan to join us on April 25th at the Drake to honor him as well as Fr. David Brecht, O.S.A. and Fr. Bill Sullivan, O.S.A. All have served our Province well over the past 50 years! Be sure to send in your tributes to be included in the book at midwestaugustinians.org/testimonial. I am very happy that Fr. Rich Young, O.S.A. is having a great experience overseas. When he returns in May, he will receive his Doctorate in Ministry from Catholic Theological Union (CTU) on the 15th and will profess his solemn vows on the 16th! Fr. Rich will teach and do pastoral work at Providence Catholic High School starting in the fall. Besides these stories, there is a wide variety of good news from around the Province to share with you in this newsletter. I hope that you will enjoy reading about them. I look forward to serving as Prior Provincial for the next four years and will count on your prayers and support not only for me, but for all of the Augustinians of the Province that I serve. May God Bless you for your generosity!

Sincerely in Christ and St. Augustine,

4 The Midwest Augustinian | WINTER 2014

O n December 19, 2013, the Midwest Augustinians re-elected the Very Rev. Bernard

C. Scianna, O.S.A., Ph.D. to a second four-year term as Prior Provincial of the Province of Our Mother of Good Counsel. The Prior Provincial oversees all the activities of the Augustinians in the Midwestern United States, Canada, and Northern Peru. He will begin his second term in June of 2014. Below is an interview with Fr. Bernie, reviewing his first term as Prior Provincial:

What changes in vocations have there been in the past four years? As you know, at my installation in June of 2010, I stated that my first priority would be Vocations, and I have not wavered from this. In fact, I made a somewhat controversial decision to name Fr. Tom McCarthy, O.S.A. as the full-time Vocation Director which meant him stepping down from the Presidency at St. Rita of Cascia High School. Fr. Tom was in agreement with this decision since he could keep some involvement at St. Rita as Chairman of the Board and Chaplain, but knowing that his first priority had to be Vocations. We have experienced significant growth in the number of young men inquiring about the Augustinians and actually entering Formation. This is a great blessing and will benefit all of our apostolates in the long run. We also continue to work with the Villanova Province [in Pennsylvania] in this area on the Vocation Discernment Weekends, which I still attend, we share

the same pre-novitiate program, and the Villanova Province named Fr. Tom as their Vocation Director two years ago as well! We now are experiencing professions and ordinations on an annual basis again. All of this new life is very inspiring to me and I hope it is to all of you!

How has the Province managed its care of the elderly the past four years? The Covenant of Care was formally approved at the Chapter of 2010, but work had begun on it under my predecessor, Fr. Bill Lego, O.S.A. I served as First Counselor on his administration, so I was quite familiar with what was being undertaken. It was my administration's decision to close Tolentine Center, where many of our elderly and infirm Augustinians were living, and form an Augustinian Community at a Catholic Health Care Facility for our friars who needed care beyond what could be provided in one of our active communities. Before this, when friars needed assisted or skilled care, they were sent to various health care facilities. This concept of having a healthy care community on site with those who were in the care facility was praised and recognized by the

National Religious Retirement Office (NRRO). While we originally started at the Franciscan Village in Lemont, Illinois, where one of our men still resides, the Mid-Chapter asked that we review the site, which we did. In trying to remain faithful to the Covenant of Care, we moved the site of the

Bellesini Friary Community to St. Anthony Home in Crown Point, Indiana. The main reasons for this were: friars would be assured of single rooms at all levels of care, they would have access to some medical assistance while living in assisted care, there is a hospital on site, and the cost was more economical. We are committed to caring for our men who have given their life in service to the Order and the Church. We want them to live

in an Augustinian Community and receive quality care! I am very grateful to Brother Jerome Sysko, O.S.A. and Fr. Mike O'Connor, O.S.A. among others who have helped us to make this program a reality.

What are some of the successes of our missions in Peru the past four years? Our Missions in Peru are inspiring! We should be very proud as a Province with what was started 50 years ago when Bishop John McNabb, O.S.A. went down to Chulucanas, Peru! Now, Bishop Dan Turley, O.S.A. is administering the Diocese while Fr. Fidel Alvarado, O.S.A. is serving as the Vicar for our Augustinian Vicariate. He is the first native Peruvian Vicar. Our Vicariate is now working with two other Augustinian Vicariates that were started by the Italian and Spanish Augustinians to become their own Province. They have taken

on commitments to serve in more parishes and schools, and are planning to build a new school in Trujillo, Peru. They also have a good number of vocation candidates and young men in formation. They are well on their way to being a new Peruvian Province. We will continue to walk with them on their journey towards being financially self-sufficient and canonically independent. It is a joy to see the work of this mission that began so many years ago come to fruition and completion!

How does serving as Prior Provincial compare to your previous education ministry of serving as Headmaster at Cascia Hall?Administration is Administration! You need to make sure that you have a strategic plan, financial stability, and a strong advancement office to support the endeavor. This has been done in the Province as was done at Cascia Hall, but I did not expect to have to be as hands on with the Augustinians as I had been at Cascia Hall with the faculty and staff. In fact, I have had to be more involved with personnel than at Cascia. This is not a bad thing, just something that surprised me. I asked the late Fr. Ted Tack, O.S.A. before I left Cascia if he had any advice for

a new, young Provincial. He told me two things: "Spend more time in the Chapel before the Blessed Sacrament in silence, listening for the Lord speaking to you." And, "Be sure to keep confident what your brothers tell you if you want them to trust you. You will need to take many things to your grave with you." This has proven to be great advice! Also, former Provincial Karl Gersbach, O.S.A. gave me some words of encouragement when I took office. He said, "We know you are a good administrator, that is why we elected you, but you also need you to be a Pastor of Souls." This advice has helped me, and over time I have tried to become a better Pastor and Brother to my fellow Augustinians!

What changes in parish ministry have the Augustinians taken the past four years? We have had some changes in this area. We have had to withdraw from some places while taking on others. This is not an easy thing to do when we have been at some places since the foundation of the parish, but with personnel limitations and trying to respond to the signs of the times, we have reshaped our parish commitments. We withdrew from St. Clare of Montefalco Parish in Grosse

Pointe, Michigan and St. Peter Parish in Douglas, Michigan. At the same time we have taken on St. Turibius and St. Gabriel Parishes in Chicago. We may need to do more of this reshaping in the next four years as well.

Midway through your term, you assumed responsibility as Prior Provincial over the Canadian Augustinians. What do you envision for the Augustinian future of Canada?I was actually Prior Provincial right away in 2010, but in 2012 the Province decided to eliminate the position of Provincial Superior, which was basically a Vicar in Canada, and put their entire governance under my administration and me. I believe this was a good thing, but it ultimately meant more hands on attention to the two communities we still have in Canada, namely Marylake Monastery in Ontario and Sacred Heart Parish in British Columbia. With the help of an amazing group of laymen, Brother Paul Koscielniak, O.S.A. from our Province, and help with personnel from the California and Cebu [Philippines] Provinces, we have made some great progress in the Province and hopefully will now focus on renewing vocation efforts up there!

What are some of the challenges of being a Prior Provincial?I actually enjoy being Provincial, but their are some challenges. It is not a 9 to 5 job; in reality it is a 24/7 job. You are always on call! The phone can ring at anytime, and you need to be available to handle things at all times of the day and night. So you have to plan some weekends away as well as vacation time and allow your Vicar to handle things. Of course, even then, if it is a serious matter, they will email, text, or call me! The other challenge is the travel schedule. It sometimes gets hectic and tiring living out of a suitcase so often. Besides these logistical things, being Provincial means that you are always managing things and people and while I work to build consensus, there will always be people who don't like the decisions that I am making. However, having being reelected by a

vote of 82 to 10, I guess there is more support than I imagined!

What are some of your greatest hopes for the next four years?

I believe that we will continue to make progress in the area of vocations! I also expect that our Capital Campaign, Continuing Our Journey of Faith, will be successful and put us on a solid financial footing to take care of our elderly/infirm friars as well as our young men in formation for years to come. I expect our schools and parishes to continue to thrive even though I think we may have to withdraw from one or more parish commitments. And I expect that our Mission in Peru will make great strides towards becoming an independent province. I would also like to see the Federation

of Augustinians of North America (FANA) continue to make progress in collaboration on projects and Augustinian personnel.

Would you like to share anything with our readers currently discerning a religious vocation?Being and Augustinian is a great way of life! I am very happy in my vocation and in my role of service as Provincial! We are able to have such a great influence for good in the lives of many people! If God is calling you to serve as an Augustinian: to live in Community being of One Heart and One Mind on the Way to God, and Serve the People of God in Schools and Parishes, answer the call! Pick up the phone and call the Vocation Director [Fr. Tom McCarthy, O.S.A. at 773-776-3044]. You will not know for sure unless you give it a try! We now have 35 young men in Formation in the United States, and we have at least seven more joining this fall. Join us on the Journey!

How can people continue to support the Augustinians?First and foremost we need your prayers! Please continue to pray for Vocations to the Augustinian Way of Life, for our ministries and missions, and for me your Provincial. Knowing that I have your prayerful support allows me to give it my all for the next four years. Also, I would appreciate your involvement in supporting our Annual Fund, our Capital Campaign and our Augustinian Gala. May God continue to bless the good work He has begun in each one of us, and may He grant success to the work of our hands and hearts!

CHULUCANAS, PERU: Fr. Bernie joins Fr. David Brecht, O.S.A. in marking special anniversaries in Peru. Fr. Brecht was Principal at St. Rita of Cascia High School when Fr. Bernie was a student. He also appointed Fr. Bernie to the Provincial Council and named him the Headmaster of Cascia Hall.

8 The Midwest Augustinian | WINTER 2014

In January 2014, the Augustinians of the Vicariate of Northern Peru gathered for their annual assembly. The Augustinians have been serving missions in Northern Peru for 50 years,

initially at the request of Pope (soon to be Saint) John XXIII. The Augustinian missions of Northern Peru have since flourished; the missionaries have served in schools and parishes. They have since founded food programs for the needy, instituted human rights campaigns, and been champions of the underserved and extremely impoverished. This past annual assembly was another milestone in the missions’ efforts, as this mission territory of the Augustinians now nears independence as its own Augustinian Province.

Members of the assembly first visited the site of the future Colegio San Agustín, or St. Augustine High School. Last year, the three United States Augustinian provinces, headquartered in Chicago, Villanova, and San Diego, each helped fund the purchase of land for the school. The school will allow local children in Peru to receive an Augustinian education based on the same core values of Truth, Unity, and Love that are indicative of an Augustinian school. The future school also is intended to enable the missions become more financially self-sufficient. Bishop Dan Turley, O.S.A. blessed the land where the school is to be built. Many friars then participated in a ceremony of placing copies of religious and civil documents in the ground which give permission to build and operate the school.

Later during the week, the Augustinians currently serving in Northern Peru cast votes to nominate their Regional Vicar. The Regional Vicar is appointed by the Midwest U.S. Provincial

Council every four years to lead the mission territory. The Augustinians of Northern Peru first hold their own election in which they can recommend a Regional Vicar to the Provincial Council. This year, the Peruvian Augustinians nominated the Very Rev. Fidel Alvarado, O.S.A. to serve a second term as Regional Vicar, coinciding with another four-year term under the leadership of Prior Provincial, the Very Rev. Bernard C. Scianna, O.S.A. (pictured together on the cover). Father Alvarado is the first native Peruvian to serve as the Regional

Vicar in Northern Peru, showing that the Peruvian Augustinians are nearing independence as their own Province.

They are working toward uniting the three Augustinian Vicariates of Peru into one Province. Aside from our Chulucanas Vicariate in Northern Peru, the other vicariates include the Apurímac Vicariate in Southern Peru and the Iquitos Vicariate in the Amazon Jungle. Prior Provincial, the Very Rev. Bernard C. Scianna, O.S.A., Ph.D., expressed that the Midwest Augustinians are continuing their commitments of supporting the missions of Northern Peru until they are ready to operate independently. He also reported that the Midwest Augustinians will continue to support the Diocese of Chulucanas, Peru, while our brother Bishop Dan Turley, O.S.A. continues to serve as the bishop there.

The Augustinians serving in Peru also provided updates on the many other fine works happening throughout the mission territory. For example, one Augustinian school near Trujillo named Colegio Señor de los Milagros, or Our Lord of the Miracles High School, now enrolls 420 students, which has grown from 180 enrolled students just five years ago. The school is now entirely self-sufficient. We have also committed to serving to two parishes in the Dioceses of Chulucanas and Trujillo for another ten years each. The Augustinians have also agreed to serve in a second parish in Trujillo for thirty years!

Later, on January 25, ten Peruvian novices from across the country professed their first vows as Augustinians. They will begin their studies in Theology at the seminary in Trujillo, Peru. This April, one Peruvian Augustinian will be ordained a deacon and two more will be ordained priests by Bishop Dan Turley, O.S.A. Across the entire country of Peru,

there are over forty men in different stages of Augustinian formation!

We thank the Augustinian missionaries and Peruvian Augustinians over the past fifty years for their dedicated service and sacrifices. We are also grateful to our many supporters who contribute their prayers and donations to help move this Augustinian mission toward becoming their own Province!

A CALL TO ACTION: THE

Continuing Our Journey of Faith CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

For the past twelve years, I had the privilege of serving the Order of St. Augustine

as Prior General, the leader of the Augustinians throughout the world. To say that these were eventful years would be an understatement, to say the least, since we are speaking of a period of time that began in September of 2001 (my election took place three days after 9-11), saw the last years of the Pontificate of Blessed (soon to be Saint) John Paul II, the full 8 years of Pope Benedict’s service, and the first year of Pope Francis. Living in Rome (the headquarters of the Order is across the street from St. Peter’s Square), I was given a somewhat unique opportunity to be at the “nerve center” of the Church. Traveling around the world, visiting Augustinian missions and apostolates in over 50 different countries on every continent, I received an education that could never be duplicated. If I had to summarize twelve years in a few words, which is probably impossible, the central theme would have to be “Augustinians announcing the Good News of the Kingdom of God.” In the truest sense of the word, it was an awesome experience! Now, once again “back home” in Chicago, I have been asked to

take up the ministry of formation, directing the preparation of the men who have discerned a call to dedicate their lives to serving others in the Church as Augustinian priests and

brothers. These men – and I’m happy to say that there is a growing number – have made a courageous decision to follow Christ in the spirit of St. Augustine, living in community and serving the Church in many different forms of mission or pastoral work. What brings people to the Augustinians today? Ultimately it is a response to God’s call. But the choice is made because they have seen what many others have seen. The vision of Augustine, based upon the model of Church lived in the Acts of the Apostles, is a source of life

and an inspiration, based upon faith and upon an experience of the love of God present in our lives. It is the

building of friendships, of community, sharing life and faith with others in a way that helps each and every one of us to make sense out of life.

Along with my responsibilities as formation director, I was invited to take part in the upcoming Capital Campaign, Continuing Our Journey of Faith. Asked why I was willing to dedicate time and energy to the campaign, I responded quite simply “because I believe in the vision and mission of the Augustinians.” I have

witnessed what it means, literally, to risk one’s life to preach the Gospel. I have seen firsthand how Augustinians have made a powerful difference in the lives of innumerable people. Many of the most influential people in my life were and are Augustinians. And today, some of them need our help. Just as important, in order for the mission to continue, the Augustinians need our help. And that is what the campaign is about. While the purpose of the campaign is primarily focused on care of our elderly brothers, and the formation

The Continuing Our Journey of Faith Campaign is the Augustinians' first capital campaign in 22 years. The campaign's focus is building up two key Augustinian trust funds: The Journey of a Lifetime Trust for our retired and infirm men, and the Fr. Ray Ryan, O.S.A. Trust to support men in formation studies and our vocations program. The two trusts are now underfunded by $15 million. The formal campaign goal will be set later in 2014. To date we have approximately $2.2 million in gifts and multi-year pledges.

F ather Henry Maibusch, O.S.A., recently released his work Padre Serra: A Tribute in Verse through the U.S.A. Council of Serra International. Serra

International fosters and affirms vocations to the priesthood and vowed religious life.

Before recently moving to the Augustinian retirement community, Bellesini Friary in Crown Point, Indiana, Fr. Henry was assigned to the Augustinian community in Racine, Wisconsin. He dedicated his unpublished manuscript to “all the men and women, who over the years, were members of Serra International, as part of the Serra Club of Kenosha, Wisconsin.” The work chronicles the life of Blessed Junipero, Serra, O.F.M., a Spanish Franciscan friar who founded many missions in southern California. Part of his legacy is a patronage for promoting vocations.

In the manuscript’s foreward, Fr. Maibusch explains that people have already written many works about the life of Blessed Serra including books, plays, and even a Hollywood movie. He remarks, “Herewith is my own modest contribution to this vast pool of Serran literature in the form of an unpublished manuscript, namely Padre Serra, A Tribute in Verse.”

We congratulate Fr. Maibusch on his work and his recognition from Serra International.

Thank you, Friends of Tolentine!

T he Augustinians are grateful to the Friends of Tolentine, also known as the Men of Tolentine and Ladies of Tolentine. For many decades, the Friends of Tolentine have supported the works of the Augustinians through both prayers

and donations. In December 2013, the Friends of Tolentine decided to disband their organization but continue to serve the Augustinians individually. We appreciate all that they have done for us in the past, and what their members will continue to do for us!

The Friends of Tolentine will present their final gift, as an organization, to the Augustinians at the Augustinian Gala on April 25 at the Drake Hotel in Chicago. The gift came from their 2013 Man of the Year event, honoring Don Mrozek. Thank you again!

Ambassador Francis Rooney Publishes New Book Global Vatican

F rancis Rooney, Augustinian Affiliate and retired U.S. Ambassador to the Vatican, recently published a new book, Global Vatican. The book illustrates the role of the Catholic Church throughout history, and particularly its diplomatic relations with

foreign countries. The book provides both historical perspective as well as more current positions of the Vatican and United States relations.

Francis Rooney served as the U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See under President George W. Bush from 2005-2008. His relationship with the Augustinians began by sending his three children to Cascia Hall Preparatory School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He later joined the board of the school and then became Chairman of the Board. Ambassador Rooney continued his relationship with the Augustinians in Rome through the former Prior General, Father Robert Prevost, O.S.A. Ambassador Rooney also became the major sponsor of the Augustinian Inaugural Gala in April of 2013.

A Long-lasting Gift: A Matter of Love and Gratitude

There are many ways to make a planned gift. A few ideas include –

W hen you consider all that the Augustinians have meant to you and to your loved ones, and also consider the tremendous impact they have had on your life, a planned gift is a really nice and long-lasting way to say “thank you.”

It is not a matter of where you were served. It could have been through a parish, a school, in seminary, on a retreat, or in a hospital. It is not simply a matter of charity. It is a matter of love and of gratitude for the Augustinians who together have contributed so many years of service in the Province of Our Mother of Good Counsel.

• A simple bequest of cash or a percentage of an estate,

• Name the Province as a beneficiary in your insurance policy, annuity or retirement plans,

• Donate a home or other property

Please give this gift some thought and prayer. When you are ready, you can ask questions or ask for information from Province Chief Advancement Officer Michael Gerrity at [email protected] or at 773-595-4035. The legal name for bequests and other planned gifts is Province of Our Mother of Good Counsel-The Augustinians. Your gift includes enrollment in the Province’s Restless Hearts Society. Society members are recognized in the Province’s headquarters (see photo).

Dr. Jim Foody Ordained a Deacon!

St. Rita Neighborhood in Chicago Receives Grant to Rebuild Community

Canadian Augustinians Celebrate World Migrant Day

W orld Day of Migrants was observed January 19 at Our Lady of Grace Shrine at Marylake, King City, Ontario. The Shrine is home to many Catholics from different countries. In accord with Pope Francis’ desire that migrants will “encounter an outstretched hand... experience fraternal solidarity and the warmth of friendship,” the Shrine

invited persons from many places to celebrate Eucharist as one family. Participants were encouraged to bring native food to share at a cultural reception after the Mass.

The Shrine also concluded serving as one of four sites in the Archdiocese of Toronto declared a place of pilgrimage for the Year of Faith. We send our blessings to the Augustinians serving in Canada from Ontario to British Columbia.

D r. Jim Foody, M.D., F.A.C.P., was ordained a permanent deacon by Bishop R. Daniel Conlon in the Diocese of Joliet, Illinois on August 17, 2013. Dr. Foody has been a longtime friend of the Midwest

Augustinians and once studied in the Augustinian seminary program. He is currently co-chairing the 2014 Augustinian Gala on April 25 with Rachel Rone.

Dr. Foody remarked that his vocational call did not leave when he left the Augustinian Order. He said, "I ended up choosing a career in which I could minister and use math and science as my tools. Serving as an ordained minister flows from the same impulse and my submission to it witnesses that I think the Church is relevant in today's world."

Dr. Foody is assigned to the parish of Our Lady of Mount Caramel in Darien, Illinois. He is the Professor and Vice-Chairman for Clinical Affairs at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago.

Congratulations Dr. Foody on your new ministry!

R esidents in the area surrounding St. Rita Parish, Chicago, on January 19 received a commitment from Illinois Governor Pat Quinn to invest $4 million in

the rebuilding of their neighborhoods. In collaboration with Southwest Organizing Project (SWOP) and United Power for Action and Justice, Fr. Tony Pizzo, O.S.A., at a public meeting, presented the community’s request to Governor Quinn for financial help to assist the neighborhoods in recovering from the plague of foreclosures which caused many homes to be abandoned. The community asked for $5 million.

“We consider this a small victory toward our goal of $18 million needed to complete the job of repairing and re-occupying approximately 100 homes in our immediate area around St. Rita Parish. No doubt more work needs to be done, but we are on the road toward hope and vitality for our community,” Fr. Tony said.

The 's of Our FundraisingBy Michael Gerrity, Chief Advancement Officer

W hy must the Midwest Augustinians seek charitable gifts to support their work? It is a good question and deserves a good answer. Our fundraising is not an option. It is a

ministry with purpose and a ministry done in the name of God and of St. Augustine. Money is not the mission, but the mission needs the money. Here is a simple way to look at the “why, how, and wherefore” of why we fundraise.

3The Augustinians of the Midwest have three

primary sources of financial support:

1. Reimbursements they receive for their works as pastors, educators, or chaplains

2. Revenues generated by their modest trust funds – which need charitable gifts to keep pace

3. Revenues generated through their annual fund mailing, calling, or visits and their annual gala.

Page 19: AMidwest ugustinian - Squarespace...WINTER 2014 FR. BERNIE SCIANNA, O.S.A. RE-ELECTED AS PRIOR PROVINCIAL Pages 4-6 The A Midwestugustinian DEAR FRIENDS OF THE AUGUSTINIANS, Since

Michael Gerrity is the Chief Advancement Officer of the Province of Our Mother of Good Counsel. He can be reached at [email protected] and 773-595-4035.

OUR FUNDRAISING IS NOT AN OPTION. IT IS A MINISTRY WITH PURPOSE AND A MINISTRY DONE IN THE NAME OF GOD AND OF ST. AUGUSTINE

Three good reasons to donate to the Augustinians:

1. They work daily to make our world a better and holier place,

2. They have a real, demonstrated use for your gifts – they are good stewards, and

3. It makes you – and them – feel better because you are doing “good.”

A modest sacrifice works wonders. It is amazing to see what can be achieved with a daily gift of $3, $2, or $1. Along with the gift of your daily prayers, a modest daily gift - over a year’s time - makes a world of difference. Every $100 gift can support a retired or infirm Augustinian for a day. Every $100 gift can support a man in formation studies for a day.

Please think about it and pray on it. Always feel free to reach out and tell us what you think. Your gifts of prayer, time, and treasure can make all the difference in the world – for you and for many others.

Three reasons why we ask for charitable gifts:

1. It is the right thing to do and a key source of income for a “mendicant” order,

2. It is necessary to the growth and continuance of our mission,

3. It gives our supporters a meaningful way to participate in the work of the Augustinians.

Your charitable gift can help one of these three specific purposes:

1. Fund our vocations program and support our men in formation studies,

2. Provide for our men living in modest retirement, and

3. Support Augustinians serving in and being formed in Peru.

We offer three primary avenues for donating to the Augustinians:

1. Our annual fund and gala,2. Our current capital campaign for

contributions to the Augustinians’ trust funds, and

3. Wills/bequests and other planned giving such as through IRAs or insurance policies.
