Tuscan Lakes’ amazing Race is a fun-fiLLed advenTuRe in which Two peRson Teams soLve puzzLes, decipheR cLues, find vaRious LocaTions and compLeTe chaLLenges whiLe venTuRing ThRough Tuscan Lakes. The Amazing Race will be held on Saturday, February 26th, 2011, and we are looking for teams of two to step up to the starting line and participate in this free event. So, grab a partner and head down to the Tuscan Lakes’ Information Center to pick up an entry form.

about Tuscan Lakes’ amazing Race . . .• The Amazing Race begins at the Cypress Point Recreation Center.• Teams will use clues to find various locations around Tuscan Lakes.• The Amazing Race will consist of six challenges and will cover 3 to 4 miles.• Contestants must have a bicycle and be at least 16 years old.
Deadline to enter is Saturday, February 5th.A mandatory team meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 23rd.

Try your luck at catching catfish on January 28th through 30th at the League City Municipal Pool! The pool will be stocked with approximately 2,500 pounds of catfish so grab your fishing pole and head down to the water for the Fishing Extravaganza!
Offered by the League City Parks Recreation Department, the Fishing Extravaganza is open to individuals of all ages and abilities. This event promotes fishing as a lifetime sport, as well as a wholesome family event. Fishing licenses are not required.
