Day 1: Arrival :

Throughout thousands of years of its eventful history, marked by destruction, wars and

natural calamities, Hanoi still preserves many ancient architectural works including the Old

Quarter and over 600 pagodas and temples. Famous sites include the One Pillar Pagoda

(built in 1042), the Temple of Literature (built in 1070), Hanoi Citadel, Hanoi Opera House,

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum...

Hanoi also characteristically contains 18 beautiful lakes such as Hoan Kiem Lake, West

Lake, and Truc Bach Lake which are the lungs of the city with their surrounding gardens

Upon your arrival, you will be picked up at the air port for a transfer to our hotel in the

old quarter of Hanoi. Check-in. Walk amongst the maze of Hanoi's old quarter to get an

Day 2: Hanoi city Tour Mai Chau:

Despite the rough roads the Northern Loop tour has become a bit of a classic. This is on

account of the overwhelming scenery and the popular hill town of Sapa, an old hill station

(elevation 1,700 meters) close to the Chinese border. The region is home to numerous

colourful ethnic minority groups. The trip also includes a visit to the historic battlefield of

Dien Bien Phu. On this northern loop tour, you have the chance to stay in a traditional long

house on stilts, get closer to daily life of Tai ethnic minority people at Mai Chau, Hoa Binh

and encounter a number of hill tribes, picturesque landscape & the wildlife of Tay Bac

(North West). You will discover the undiscovered part of Vietnam.

AM: Sightseeing tour of Hanoi includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (except Monday &

Friday), One Pillar Pagoda, theTemple of Literature - Vietnam's 1st university, Ngoc Son

Temple by the Hoan Kiem Lake.

Pm: Drive westward to Mai Chau (Hoa Binh province). Visit a White Tai minority

village. Overnight at stilt-house in Mai Chau.

Day 3 : MaiChau Son La:

Am: Following breakfast we take a 2-3 hour hike through verdant villages of White Tai,

and H'Mong hill tribe peoples.

Pm: Drive to Son La. Son La is located in a scenic valley, inhabited by Tai, Muong and

H'mong minority people. This area is historically important for its involvement in the

Vietnamese struggle for independence from France during the first half of the 20th

century. Overnight at hotel in Son La.(Breakfast, lunch and diner included)

Day 4 : SonLa Dien Bien:

Am: Visit the former French Prison and then drive to the colorful market of Thuanchau

with pleasant encounters with friendly tribal people at the market and villages along the

way. Visit Blue Hmong village at Phadin pass. Lunch in Tuanchau before making our

way to Dienbien Phu you can see the former battlefield and the display of war

scraps from battlefields. It was here that the French planned to lure the Viet Minh, led by

Ho Chi Minh, into the valley by sending 16,000 French troops as bait. The French

however did not count on the brilliant leadership of General Vo Nguyen Giap who

somehow managed to place the Vietnamese artillery on the surrounding ridges.

Day 5 : Dien Bien Lai Chau Tam Duong:

After breakfast, depart for Lai Chau. You will have a long journey through fantastic

mountainous scenery. On the way, we can visit ethnic villages of the Red H'Mong, Kho

Mu & Zdao people. Overnight in Tam Duong.

Day 6 : Tam Duong Binh Lu Sapa:

Visit the colorful market of Tamduong and Binhlu market. Continue our way throughscenic Binhlu pass where we have a birds eye view to the distant villages, rice field and

mountains. Wind up terraced hillsides to Sa Pa. Upon arrival Sapa, check in and explore

the Sapa town. Overnight at hotel in Sapa

Sapa is located in the northern part of Vietnam near the Chinese border in the mountainous

province of Lao Cai. It is home to many ethnic minority groups such as : Red Dzao, Black

Hmong, Xa Pho and Dzay people

Elevated 1650 meters above the sea level, Sapa was built by the French in 1922 as a hill

station for the relaxation of French expats during the French War in Vietnam.

Sapa has now become a famous tourism site. Sapa offers the traveller a rare glimpse into theway of life that has all but vinished from the rest of Asia. Here you will find no welcome

mats or rehearsed Cultural parades, just real people living real lives who greet visitors

with genuine warmth and real smiles.

Sapa serves as the regions commercial center and hosts a colorful market each weekend.

This is a major social event for minorities where members of various villages meet to eat and

drink and pick up essential provisions.

Visitors to Vietnam all agree that Sapa is the countrys crown jewel. The combination of

fresh mountain air, relaxed ambience, sweeping panoramas and fascinating hill tribes make

Sapa a most wanted destination.

Following breakfast, we set out on our scenic drive along the Red river back to Hanoi.

02/ MarHanoi Hoa Lu Tamcoc:

Hoa Lu & Tam Coc is one of the most popular day tour starts from Hanoi. Its a

combination of sightseeing excursion trip and historical visit. 80 km from Hanoi, HoaLu &

Tamcoc located in Ninh Binh province.... where you can see the most typical rural scenery

in Vietnam. Tour start and conclude in Hanoi.

After Break fast, We will go to NinhBinh. It will take almost two hour to NinhBinh. Here,

you can visit Hoa Lu the ancient capital of Vietnam in 10th century. The capital is located

in the center of the lime stone mountains.

After Hoa Lu, our driver will drive you to Tam Coc, Halong on Land.

Over here you can enjoy a lunch in the local restaurant in TamCoc.

After the lunch, We will take 2, 5 hour boat trip on the Ngo Dong river to enjoy Halong

on Land. We will go through three caves on the river and also enjoy rice fields and limestone landscape a long the river. After the trip we will go back Hanoi.

Day 10:

03/ MarHanoi Halong bay:

Situated in the Tonkin Golf, Halong bay is one of the world's natural wonders - a bay with

more than 3,000 islands, which time, wind and waves have sculpted into fantastic shapes.

The best way to appreciate this magical scene is from a boat, cruising between these karst

cliffs, which loom like fairy-tale castles, complete with rocky spires and hidden caves. The

bay is dotted with tiny islands, pristine sandbanks on the turquoise water providing anexcellent backdrop for swimming or just lazing about on the junk boat.

8.30 am pick up you at your hotel in Hanoi. Travel to Ha Long city for about 3 hours

drive. Upon arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with a delicious

local seafood lunch served on board. Passing Dog Island, Incense Urn Island, Ga Choi

Island, FInger Island, Hoa Cuong Island, and visit Surprise cave and short swim at Titov

beach, kayak, if weather permitted. Have dinner on board. In the evening, enjoy the night

fishing and later over night on board.
