No incubation periodSigns/Symptoms: Arthritis, joint pain, fever,
fatigue, skin rash, and sensitivity to sunlightDetected by blood cell count and urine

What are the signs?
Chronic disease because it is livingNo immunityGet lupus once, have it for lifeProduces anti-bodies that go against its own
tissues. Problems occur in the lungs, blood, brain, kidney, heart, and joints
Affect on the body
No prevention against lupus because there is still no known cause
Treatment: Medications including steroids, immunosuppresants, and anti-inflammatories
Can be terminal but varies from patient to patient because of the wide range of symptoms
