GENERAL NOTES

Situation Alrewas Hayes has excellent road network access and lies only 3 ½ miles from the main A38 Lichfield to Burton on Trent dual carriageway. From the A38 at Alrewas pick up the A513 signposted Kings Bromley and Rugeley. Continue for approximately 2 miles and opposite Orgreave Hall turn left signed for Fradley junction. Continue up the lane with Alrewas Hayes lying on the right after approximately ½ mile. From the A50 Sudbury and the A515 travel south through Yoxall to Kings Bromley and turn left onto the A513 signposted Alrewas and Tamworth. Continue out of Kings Bromley village and after ¾ mile turn right opposite Orgreave Hall to Fradley junction with Alrewas Hayes lying on the right up the lane after approximately ½ mile.

‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

Cash – Under the money laundering regulations the auctioneers are unable to accept cash in sums greater than €15,000 (or its Sterling equivalent). Please contact the auctioneers to discuss methods of cash payment prior to the sale.

Export Purchasers – All goods must be paid for in pounds sterling (£).

VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. Therefore, any customers who have no trading pattern record with the auctioneers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

Buyers Premium – No buyers premium will be payable at this sale.

Telehandler Loading Facilities – Telehandler loading facilities will be available on site up until approximately 5.00pm on sale day.

Machine Hours – Machine hours have been taken as at 11/5/17. These are given for information purposes only and are not guaranteed by the Auctioneers. Loading It is the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange for the safe loading & transport of all and any purchases. Bagshaws are under no obligation to provide assistance in loading but on occasion they will do their best to help provided that it is not putting themselves, the purchaser or other people at risk of injury. The genuine dispersal sale at Alrewas Hayes arises as a result of Midland Pig Producers Ltd decommissioning many of their Midland Pig units and all locals will know that the various units at Fradley etc. have already been totally destocked. There is a large range of pig specific gates, hopper feeders etc. together with the sundry machinery tied to pig production including the various vacuum tankers, scrapers, tractors and Bobcat etc. for dispersal. In addition to the items from the main farms there are general implements, sundries and effects and also 5 Bulk Corn Bins and a large pig weigher lying at the decommissioned Fradley unit. There are various items from local vendors and purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at the many and varied lots at this dispersal sale.
