This week is a Parliamentary Break Week. The next sitting of the House will be November 14, 2011.
House of Commons committee meetings will resume the week of November 14-18, 2011.
The Senate adjourned on November 3, 2011 until Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at 2 p.m.
Senate committee meetings will resume the week of November 14-18, 2011.
This being a Parliamentary Break Week, the next sitting of the House will be on November 14, 2011 at 11:00 am.

Short Title: Preventing Persons from Concealing Their Identity during Riots and Unlawful Assemblies ActSponsor: Mr. Richards (MP for Wildrose)

! Scheduled to be debated on Thursday November 17, 2011 as part of Private Members' Business.
This bill would amend the Criminal Code to make it an offence to wear a mask or other disguise to conceal ones identity while taking part ina riot or an unlawful assembly. Lawbreakers would be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years as well as being guilty to anindictable offence or a crime punishable on summary conviction in the event of an unlawful congregation. The bill would exempt those with a"lawful excuse" for having their face covered.
