Field Assessments 2010

• The Field Assessments are a mandatory 2 day event

• Equivalent to an RNP for the Detachment

• This take precedence over all Unit/District/Area events

• Dates are booked with the SRMO 5 Years in Advance and Published and Confirmed 3 years ahead

• Dates of the Assessments are unlikely to be moved as this has a knock on effect with other Companies

• Pay is only available for those that attend the whole weekend

• Travel is only available for those that have agreed a travel plan with the TO

MC1 Cpl Boards 2010

• 1 Board to be run at Bristol Filton Unit.• 2 Boards to run alongside Area LC and Cdt PO Boards currently

at HMS Raleigh.• Max 24 Candidates on each (event) board on a first come first

serve basis.• L98’s to assess candidates• To increase Stability and standardisation of Promotion Boards

within the Company.• The boards will always run.• 1 Days pay for Staff.• Travel for those Transporting Cadets• Applications by Westminster .• T9/10’s/T7 SM with consent forms and £10 Course Fee to TO*• Westminster closes on Tuesdays paperwork closes with me on

Friday.• Joining Instructions to be issued to CO’s/OC’s after cut off date

to include Cpl’s Lecturette Subject and Orders Scenario.• Questions?

• As the Detachment Commander it is your responsibility to make sure that the correct administration is sent. It is not the responsibility of your Admin Officer.

• To apply for a place on either board you are required to send to the TO – CSgt(SCC) P Edwards:– Westminster Consent form both Cadet and Staff are to

be correctly filled in inc travel plan and forwarded to the TO.

– Cadets must be on Westminster

Nesscliffe CoursesCadet

• Land Leadership Course.

• Applications via Westminster paperwork forwarded to HQ

• 5 Places per Course.

• Must be Cdt Sgt or Senior Cdt Cpl.

• Age 16 – 17.6.

• Run by the Army.

• This is a Section Commanders Course.

Cadet Sergeants Exams

• To be Run at HMS Excellent/Inskip.

• Applications by Westminster and T11 to via Coy Cdr to HQ (With Full Cost)

• Must be recommended by Company Commander.

• 20 Places per Course.

• Substantive Corporals Only

• Min Age 15.9
