All Church Survey -‐ 2015
Faith Covenant Church – All Church Survey Results
Congregational Report 5/28/2015 Thank you to everyone who participated in the All Church Survey! The church Council and I have taken the time to review your responses and to do an initial analysis by grouping responses into similar categories. These categories are intended to give us a better understanding of the broader issues identified within the survey results. Within each section of the report, the categories that received the most responses are listed first, essentially creating a prioritized list of responses for each survey question. There are two versions of the survey results included in this report. The first version (pp. 2-‐3) is a “Summary Analysis” that only includes the grouped categories and the number of responses attributed to each category. The “Summary Analysis” is intended to give us a simple, “at-‐a-‐glance” view of the survey results. The second version (pp. 4-‐30) is a “Detailed Analysis” that includes the specific responses that were given for each question. We have edited the detailed responses in an attempt to keep the answers brief and clear. In the editing process, we have worked hard to faithfully represent the clear intent of each answer given. Please review this report and let us know if you have any questions about the process or the results. The next step will be to take these results into our Focus Group discussions. Focus Groups are currently being scheduled and there will be opportunities for everyone to participate. In these discussions, we will be seeking to understand what these results mean for us as a church. We will work for greater understanding about each identified category and we will be exploring the question of what these results tell us about who we are and where we are going. Thank you, again, for your patience and your participation. The results of this survey, and the subsequent conversations that will follow, are a great step forward in helping us to gain PERSPECTIVE on our church. As we have said, healthy PERSPECTIVE is what will allow us to find greater FOCUS and, ultimately, lead to healthy and missional ACTION. We are excited about achieving this first step and enthusiastically anticipate the conversations ahead. -‐ Pastor Kurt & the Church Council
