44 ALL SAINTS’ SUNDAY
All Saints’ Sunday is a day to honor the memory of those in our church family who have entered the Father’s House. It also proclaims Christ’s victory over death. We will call the names of loved ones who have died in the last year as a part of our worship services. With their families we grieve in the loss which death brings. As the Family of God, we give thanks for the promise of eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord!

The St. Luke School Annual Fund Campaign bridges the gap between tuition revenue
and the school’s operating and facility expenses – a gap that could otherwise be filled only by a tuition increase. Our goal this year is $150,000. The campaign runs from October 1 - December 31, 2015, but you have until June 30, 2016 to fulfill pledges made during that time. To make your gift, scan this QR code or go to http://www.givetostlukeschool.com. Thank you for your support!
“Fly Away Home” Pepper Choplin Fly away, O fly away home to a land that is just beyond the skies. Fly away, O fly away home. Come and claim sweet heaven’s prize. Come to me all who are weary. Come to me, I will give you rest. And I will send a holy wind to lift you up. I’ll lift you up. O fly away, fly away home to that land that is just beyond the skies. Fly away, O fly away home to claim sweet heaven’s prize. Live ev’ry day true and faithful. Meet ev’ry trial the best that you can, and take no thought for tomor-row. I hold your future in my hand. I’ll lift you up to heaven, fly away. O fly away home to a land that is just beyond the skies. Fly away, O fly away home to claim sweet heaven’s prize.

ALL SAINTS’ SUNDAY SERVICE The bell banner being used in today's All Saints' Sunday Service was originally designed and donated by a church member. It was refurbished for this service by a gifted seamstress, and the bells were polished by members of the Bereavement Ministry. Before the service today, families of St. Luke members who died in the past year gathered for a time of remembrance and celebration where they hung a bell on the banner in memory of their loved one. The banner is a visual reminder of all the saints, and the gentle ringing of the bells is symbolic of the Holy Spirit's presence and movement among the Body of Christ, uniting us to the Church Triumphant. We are grateful for the ministry of those who have preceded us into the Father's house, and we are blessed by the gifts of all who made this beautiful banner possible.
