Reflect: The Central African Republic (CAR) is one of the poorest countries in the world. They depend on humanitarian assistance. Religious leaders continue the work of healing the trauma of war and rebuilding a new society.

Act: The USCCB and CRS worked with the religious leaders in the

CAR and helped launch the Central African Interfaith Peacebuilding

EIM UPDATE

EIM Workshop(during pandemic)

EIM Policies require all clergy, religious, seminarians, employees and adult volunteers serving in a ministry requiring EIM compliance to

submit an EIM Application for Ministry (one-time only) and attend an EIM Workshop at least once every three years. No new EIM Applica-

tions are being accepted/submitted during this time of COVID-19 and all in-person EIM Workshops have been postponed. However, the

EIM Office has created a Temporary Online EIM Training to fulfill the compliance requirement for those who already have an EIM account

and are due or past due to attend an EIM Workshop. Go to www.austindiocese.org/workshop to complete the temporary online EIM train-

The Pharaoh of Egypt would not listen to God through Moses’ messages

about letting the Israelites be freed so that they could worship him. So God

sent the land of Egypt a series of 10 plagues. The Plagues are listed be-

low. Which came first? Read the brief chapters 7, 8, 9, 10 y 11 of Exodus

during the week and match the plagues with its number indicating their se-

St Vincent De Paul's Main organization (Travis County) received some

funds through the RISE program. This program is trying to provide relief to

individuals NOT covered by the Federal programs for payments of lost wages

due to covid 19. The aid is focused on people NOT being helped by the gov-

ernment and includes assistance for undocumented individuals.

It is worth up to a few thousand dollars for lower income, mid-sized families

who lost work due to covid 19.

The program begins this Monday June 1, 2020., They can call this phone # to
