BIBLE STUDY SMALL GROUP The Winter/Spring Bible Study will begin on February 6. This session we will be studying: Amos/Hosea/Micah: A Call to Justice and James: Put Your Faith to Work. Both studies are from the Six Weeks with the Bible series from Loyola Press. This format uses an at home study and reflection model with discussion and sharing when we gather. We will meet in The Madonna Room, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, on Thursdays, beginning February 6. Meeting dates will be adjusted if cancellations occur. We have room for a few more people. St. Rita with the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur will be hosting a special presentation of Mr. Sam Clements – the student who filmed Sister Dorothy Stang in Brazil --- and then made the film: “The Student, the Nun, and the Amazon”. DECEMBER PANTRY REPORT

The Northeast Churches Emergency Food Center for the month of December provided food assistance for 129 families comprised of 389 family members, of which 119 were children. We had 30 new families. The feeding of the poor is a Christian duty. The Northeast Emergency Food pantry provides a lifeline to many of our sisters and brothers in the neighborhood who are less fortunate. Your contributions are very valuable. We encourage you to drop your donations of non-perishable food items in the Pantry Donation Box located in the QM Narthex.
