In a world where craft breweries try to outduel each other with extreme flavors, Devils Backbone Brewing Company strives to brew beers which have depth of flavor and are

authentic to style.

Our beers are subtly complex, which satisfies the connoisseur's palate, while remaining approachable for all beer consumers. Loving Devils Backbone beer comes naturally.

Basecamp Brewpub & meadows

Basecamp Brewpub & Meadows is tucked in the valley of Nelson County Virginia on 100 acres. The Meadows offers a mecca of outdoor adventures including bike races, trail run races, festivals and camping. In 2015, we invested over $2,000,000 in outdoor dining with 400 seats, the wood-fired Oak Grill, outdoor beer garden and special events space. We anticipate hosting more than 500,000 guests at Basecamp.

Between Oysterfest, the Daypack Games, Virginia Craft Brewers Festival and our the Hoopla, Basecamp was host to over 10,000 festival attendees in 2016.

The Pilot Brewery at Basecamp is the proving ground for every Devils Backbone Beer. To make it to the big show, every beer has to be vetted by the most important focus group: our guests.

Outpost Brewery & Taproom Our Outpost production brewery is defined by our continuous pursuit of quality. Housing two brewing systems fabricated by the foremost brewery manufacturer in the world and staffed by a crew of professional production brewers, the Outpost is capable of producing 2,067,000 consistent cases of award-winning beer.

We’ve invested over $12,000,000 in the past four years including upgrades in 2015. • 120 barrel state of the art German brew house to improve

production efficiency. • 120,000 barrels of fermentation capacity to support growth. • 1 million dollar investment into high tech centrifuge filtration

system to improve consistency and quality.

Maintaining world-class quality beer throughout our rapid growth is of paramount importance. This year, we constructed a new lab and stocked it with the tools to ensure chemical, microbiological and sensory consistency of every batch we produce. Quality checks are performed during every step of the process and our brewers partake in daily sensory analysis to ensure that we’re proud of every beer we ship out

Devils Backbone & AB InBev Important Points: A. Devils Backbone Brewing Company partnered with The High End, Anheuser-Busch’s craft and import division beginning in Oct. 2016. The High End’s craft portfolio includes Goose Island, Blue Point, 10 Barrel, Elysian, Golden Road, Four Peaks, and Breckenridge Brewery. B. Steve Crandall and upper management will continue to lead the company moving forward. C. Devils Backbone will remain based in Virginia, maintaining its strong ties to the local community. The Outpost Brewery & Taproom in Lexington will continue to serve as our primary production brewery. The Basecamp Brewpub & Meadows in Roseland will still house our innovation hub and pilot brewery and continue to offer all of its outdoor activities & festivals. D. We will retain our adventurous spirit and continue to run the company in the same way moving forward, with a focus on quality over quantity. E. Anheuser-Busch’s resources including brewing expertise and deep distribution

network puts Devils Backbone in a great position to make the most of our opportunities to innovate and share our beer with more craft drinkers.
