Angle-side-angle (ASA)

If two angles and the included side of one triangle are congruent to two angles and the

The base angle theorem states that if two sides in a triangle are congruent, then the angles

Tangent theorem

If a line is tangent to a circle, then the line is perpendicular to the radius at the point of tangency. The converse is also true: If a line in the plane of a circle is perpendicular to a radius at its endpoint on the circle, then the line is tangent to the circle.
