Typical conventions:

They use a voice over talking about having nice arm pits. They then spray the deodorant under the arm.

In this TV Ad they use mainly medium shots of the girl moving about with her arms in the air. They then use an extreme close up of the deodorant being sprayed under the arm. Then shows another medium shot of the main character having her arms around her friends showing a very happy and convincing emotion. This helps to sell the product.
