Named “Nemesis”, this piece caught my eye as my ideal

description of how Satan should be depicted. This is what I was scared

of as a child.

This piece, “Head of a Stag” caught my eye as one of the favorite works of Albrecht Durer. It reminds me of my time spent in the woods hunting deer and really hit home.

“Wing of a Roller” caught my eye because it had much more color contrast than any other of his works. Maybe because they couldn’t always control the lighting when he was working?

• The title “Young man leaning forward using drill” is what caught my eye for this piece, it made me wonder how long work took back then without modern machinery.

• This picture made me like it because it had things that couldn’t happen in it. All of the other pictures besides the representation of Satan could have actually happened.
